Called me today on my google voice number. Rang once and they hung up.

Got a call from this number, rang 2 times then dial tone.  I called the number back and got a message that said it was not a working number!

Called my office phone on July 4TH!! I wasn't in but who calls on a freaking holiday!

That's easy.  You either spoof the caller ID, put a message on the voice mail that says the number is out of service, or have your phone company do it for you.  (My phone company lets me selectively forward calls to such a message when I get a known scammer calling, for example.  It's a privacy measure.)

Just remember, for every bit of privacy YOU think you are entitled to, there's also a scammer out there who will also use it to their own benefit.  So it pays to stay alert.

They called my cell phone.  It rang twice and stopped, so I called them back a minute or two later and a message came on saying that the number was out of service.  How the heck do you get a call from a number that is out of service?!!?

Rang twice then bailed...their loss (like I'd talk to them anyway!)

I'm on the Do Not Call list. They called 7:30PM AZ time and hung up after one ring.

Called my home phone. Couldn't get to it in time. No message left. I tried to call the number back and it is not in service???!!!  They had just called me..sheesh. This type of call should be illegal.

Called at 5:15 Sunday evening.  No one there when answered.

called me at work, it rang once then hung up, called it back and the "number is not in service". if this is a company it needs to be reported. i'm on the do not call list and they legally cannot call me.

same as other this number called me an hang up. called back and it is not valid number. weird!!!!!

Calls a Do Not Call number but only lets ring several times and hangs up.  Usually after 830pm .

Just got a call from this number on a cell phone I just got yesterday. Has to be random calling. They hung up after two rings.
