Lots of unknown numbers...restricted calls all the sudden. Early in the am...late at night

Mine started day after car dealer called my work phone to tell me I'd be getting my registration in mail.
Also I did a paid credit report from one of the 'big three' agencies same day. (Perhaps they figured if I'm not smart enough to get the 'free' report, then I'd go for these loan company calls).
So it could be DMV, the dealer, the credit agency or someone else I dealt with that day who had access to my work phone and gave it out.
Got calls at work for about a week from 713 (Texas?) area code, then they spoofed a number in my work area code, then a few days later the 646 number here (646-843-6222) - which matches my cellular area code.

All foreign people on script looking for a particular person (not me) asking about 'loan application' - or talking about 'your pre-approved loan application'. I think I'll just give them a phony name an ss number one day- let them waste their own time for a change.

Same story here.  they call my WORK phone a dozen times a day, asking for Jeremy, there is only me in my office and i'm not Jeremy!!  We all need to report this to the FCC.  I emailed every one of these people at the FCC about it and you should too.  Tell them what is happening and give them the numbers that come up on the caller ID ....  This sounds like a new scam and it's from another country.  They won't respect the 'do not call list' they are criminals trying to get your private information.  Also, when they call tell them you've reported them to the FCC, a US Government Agency.

this number has called me a DOZEN times a day all week long!  ON MY WORK PHONE.  It's really pissing me off.  They sound like they are viet or something and they always ask for Jeremy, there is no jeremy at this number ONLY ME.  I plead with them every time, asking who they are and to remove me.  They usually just hang up and sometimes they say "ok we wont' call anymore"  and then an hour later, there it is RING RING another call from a different person asking for Jeremy.   Every morning i get in and my voicemail light is on, and it's them, click.  This is harassment, i reported to the FCC.  You all should as well.

The DNC registry list means nothing to these scammer people and it is totally unenforceable..  It is just a list that Legitimate American Businesses who use telephone sales,  are required to purchase at frequent intervals so they won't call those listed.  Nothing mechanical blocks calls.  It is only a list to keep the honest.......honest.
These scammers,  especially the ones out of foreign countries,  could care less.

I get a call from this number from New York. Called back and disconnected. These people don't have a life especially Indian people. My phone number is on the do not call list registry but still calls.

646-843-6222 keeps calling me and hanging up. When I call back the announcement claims the number is not in service and yet the calls keep coming from the same damn number!

Same s***... tired of it.. started of couple of days ago... how to stop these..

Im getting the calls today Feb 6. The number is spoofed (fake). Ive used CVS for years but oddly enough I was just there in the last 2 days. Whats going on? Are you all in PA too?
Anyone ever talk to the caller??? WTF do they even want?

continue to get phone calls from this number. they will not stop. 26 today all together. this is insane.

I have gotten 20 calls today from random numbers, including multiples from this one.  I think it might be from CVS too.  How can I get this to stop?!   I've answered a couple times and have gotten either bizarre ring tones or silence.

Last night around 6:30pm I walked into a CVS Pharmacy's Minute Clinic and registered for a basic service. It was all downhill from there.  Between 7:30 and 9pm, I received approximately 6 calls from various numbers I do not know; this (646-843-6222) being one of them. So far today (it's apx 4pm) and since 8:30 this morning, I have received 25 calls from various b***s*** numbers. I firmly believe that CVS is either selling my information or certainly doing nothing to prevent it from being picked from their database. I wonder how many of the responders on this page had a similar situation.

Just started getting all these random calls from NY they call all day... WTF.... Calling for Nathan... also getting text..

This number come up with an identity of "V02051853170201".  And they just hang up.  repeatedly, 4-5 tims a day.  call the number back it rings one time and then it is a busy signal

I have received about 50 calls from this organization, disguising their number all over America and other countries.  I also receive emails and tell them to stop.  I unsubscribe but they continue to Harass me. I blocked the number but they still call and leave messages.  I went online to block them but I have to wait for 30 days before I can file a claim.  I probably will go nuts by then...this is Unreal.
