persistent calling, all hours, nite day 2 am 2pm- every day, sometimes several times per day. obviously a telemarketing call w/ IT that doesn't know how to program the call center program.

I have programmed one of my routers to repeatedly call them until their server gives up. I have blocked them from calling me. Hope this works.

I just got a call from this number 646-918-8073, calls everyday. I answer and they say nothing, then hang up. I call the number back from a landline phone and it doesnt even ring, it stays silent and then just disconnects. GET A LIFE PEOPLE AND GET A REAL JOB.

They are calling wanting your credit card information. They do not give you a chance to ask any questions just want your card information which I am not giving to anyone... I hope this help anyone that reads this but the these people are a pain and I want it to stop because I am tired of changing my phone number because of this crap!!!!!! A do not call list means DO NOT CALL!!!!!

Just got a call from this number. It is not the first time, but I did answer the phone. I said hello multiple times, then I started pressing the * and # keys for an extended period of time. Still nothing, but the call was still connected.

I have no idea who this is, but I inherited this home number from some lady who gets non-stop bill collection calls, so I 'm guessing it is just another one. Yay.

I received a telephone call this morning from a New York number...646-918-8073.  This is a scam for govt grants.  A person whose first language is not English, speaks fast, doesn't let you talk or ask questions, wants your credit card # so they can charge $1.78 to send grant application.  They are persistent and called yesterday from a Pennsylvania number... 724-352-0103.  Look this up on Rip-Off Report and there have been other complaints. When does this ever stop?

to all concerned.Their are two differnt do not call list's, 1 is for your land line and the other is for your cell phone,you MUST call both number's for them to be liable for fine's. also, just a short time ago the law that said they could not call your cell phone's was lifted.you can find both number's on the do not call list phone number's online.good luck everyone.

My mom who is on hospice keeps getting calls from this number and they never say anything, they just hang up on me. Like others said, you get dead space when you call back. It's like being stalked and there has to be something done about these people. If they never have consequences, such as fines or criminal prosecution they will just keep on doing it and profiting off of unsuspecting people. It makes me sooo angry!

Yes, very annoying.  I am job hunting and I will answer the phone for people I know or within my area code or the next city over.  These people call all day and never leave a message.  I add their number to my contacts and label it unknown a***oles and send the contact to Vm, directly.  My phone doesnt ring I only see the missed call after the fact.  If you dont leave me a message than you will continue to be sent to vm.  I'm sure eventually you will get tired of calling me and never getting through and stop wasting your time.  Do Not Call means just that!

Had called my business line multiple times in the last few days... since I have clients in New York I answered. Indian guy with a very hard to follow accent wanting to verify my business information. Says he's from 24/7 Tech Company, a hardware and software company. Why this company needs my information is beyond me.

I get calls from this number at work.  A heavily accented (sounds Indian) man wants to "verify the listing, ok?"  Keeps repeating "ok" after every statement.  I have asked to be placed on the do not call list, but continue to receive these harassing calls.

When I call the number, I get a recorded message stating that the person I am calling does not have a voice mail box set up yet.

Called wanted to verify business information i asked for the information back so I could verify it, he kept saying he was from 24/7 technical support. We don't have that so a  requested someone with better English, did not transfer asked again still no transfer..... goodbye.

I continue to get calls from this number, but there is usually "911" in front of the number so on my phone it will pop up as 911-646-9188073 , which is weird to me so I never answer to see what they want.

Same deal as most...caller leaves no message...when i called it i did get a busy signal

I just got a call from this number.  The guy on the other end said I had applied for a government grant and was preapproved.  I told him that I didn't apply for a grant and to quit calling.  When I ask him where he was calling from he had to think about it for a minute and said Utah, Salt Lake Utah.  He would not give the name of his company and he had a very heavy accent.....

update...they said the wanted to give a grant ...i said i don't want a grant just free money to do drugs....they ended it after that

I received a call on my cell today from 646-918-8073. A guy with a thick Indian accent asked me if I remembered applying for a grant. After I answered "yes", he asked me what I needed the grant money for. He then told me that he'd mail an application packet to me so that I could receive the approved grant money... I only needed to give him my credit card # to authorize a one time payment of $1.87.

I gave the phone to my mom, who immediately began demanding information from the guy... What's the name of your company? If my daughter applied for a grant, why don't you know what kind? Why would she need to give you a credit card number if she's been approved for free money? What's your web site, what's your address? Out of frustration, the guy asks my mom to hold for his supervisor...

Another guy comes on the line w/an accent just as thick as the first.. His name, "John Conner", government supervisor, employee # 8600089. To prove the legitimacy of his company, "John" tells my mom to pull up his company's website www.grants.gov.  He also refers her to www.grantfundingsource.net, stating that once she or I paid the "one time fee of $1.87" we could find more free money. "John" even offered my mom time to check out the information that he'd given her.  He told her to call him back at (424) 245-2187. He said that his secretary "Bob" would answer the phone, but reassured he'd transfer her to him..."John Conner"... That's the guy from Transformers, right? LOL

I check the number if I see a number coming in with a strange area code I will not answer it. If they leave a message I would like to hear it. I get these crapy calls too and if I do not answer the phone they should get the idea and quit calling.

These people are soooo irritating.  I am also getting calls from 424-245-2187 and 754-484-3851.  These three numbers call me all day long while I am at work and I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  When I do answer most times they just hang up.  The other night a lady did say that I had signed up for something because I was interested in going back to school.  That is totally wrong, I already have a college degree.  Now I am also getting text messages from 33555 about grants and whatnot.  I texted stop and they said I was unsubscribed.  Now I am getting text messages from another place talking about reply yes to see who your secret crush is.  What the h311 is going on??????

Got a call from 1-646-918-8073 this morning. Sounded like the other people on here-Indian, Nigerian or some other foreign country. Didn't get a name. Asked for me by name and I asked him where he was calling from. He said India. I asked why the H--- he was calling from India. He then hung up. In the last three days, I have had numerous calls from different numbers saying if I gave them $1.78 or $1.87 for some government grant packet. Told them to take my name off their list as I was not interested. Another number for the same crap was 1-424-245-2187. There's probably more numbers they are using. Just hoping that they don't scam young adults into thinking they can get this grant money by giving their card info over the phone.

geez, this is creepy.  I just reactivated a TracFone with a new number, and so far, all I've gotten are 4 calls for "Melinda" (see amm78's posting, above), including one from this number.  I gotta get a new phone number.

Keeps calling but no one is on the other end. How can I block it? I have been on a NO CALL list for at least a year and a half. I am sick of the invasion of these vultures/ scammers. How dumb do they think we are and where did they obtain our cell phone numbers?
Had another number that offered me a purebred puppy for free because he was moving. I just needed to pay for the airline delivery of my puppy, which was 175.00. Looked up their number and it was also... a Nigerian scam.
Pathetic...
