Received a call from this # today.  I have many messages saved from this foreigner that I could probably fill a phone book.  He flubbed up on his name today as I asked for an Officer Walter which is a voicemail he left me the other day.  He is impersonating a Police Officer. Apparently doesn't know the laws in may state.  At least do your homework before you make yourself look foolish.  OR there are other legit jobs out there.  Tomorrow it will be another number.  As long as we all post these #'s on this site we will all be aware. I can only wish you good luck!

Like everyone else above I have experienced the exact same harrassment... This is a TOTAL SCAM!!! One would think that if a person was running a scam business like this it would be somewhat organized and professional. They are complete retards who can't speak any english or write correctly.

A little tip: If you want to rip someone off you tard(s) at least make it sound legit...

Thanks for everyone that has posted warnings about this number.   I have been calling him back with prank dial and he has fell for it every time.  I liked the credit fraud prank and the one about turning his electric off. I think if you get one of these waste as much of his time as possible.  Is he operating out of his house will he answer at all times of the day,  I don't know but am going to find out.

I recently got a call from this number I know it is a scam.  What I am doing in return is using prank dial and give him a bunch of calls back.  Between me and a group of friends we have called him quite a few times and he will always answer,  does not want to miss any calls that may pay him money to stop.  If you have nothing better to do you should harass him back if he is to busy on the receiving end he can not scam someone else.

many harassing messages from a thickly accented man . he is rude and threatening

These people keep calling me claiming that I owe them $500. They claim that they are going to sue me. My financial records indicate that I have never received $500 form a check advance company. They  have foreign accents. They have claimed to be a Shawn Williams or a Tejs Collins. They claim to be from a lawyer's office. They get abusive when I tell them about my financial records not showing any such transaction claiming that bank records are not admissible in court. They hang up when I tell them that I have contacted the attorney general who advises that I should get their physical address, phone number and name. My attorney general's office says that bank records are admissible in a court of law.

I missed the call and he left a text voice mail message.....

Just received call from this # as well. He is telling me that i am being sued because i have not pd a payday loan from cash net usa. but i have never had a loan with this company. His name this time is Neil Johnson. These people need to get a real job like the rest of us.

I have also began receiving calls from this number saying the samething.  I asked for something in writing & have yet to receive it.  They want me to verify the last 4 of my SS#, but I'm not telling them anything until I see something in writing.  I really can't understand half the stuff they are saying.

I have received calls from this same person, thick middle eastern ancient. He uses different phone numbers which this 646-918-8118 is one of many. He is rude and threatening and uses a different name each time. Today he is Alan Smith. He always uses an American name and he is clearly NOT American. I have done everything I know to do to stop the calls. Reported to the police, etc. He will stop for a couple of weeks and then starts again. If calls continue at work; just answer and say "Operator, this is the call to be traced." Hang up. Do not engage in any conversation with this person or persons.

Unbelievable ... I keep getting these calls every month and now they called my daughter and son in law and say they are going to contact my employer ... how do they get these numbers????

Just got a call from these people yesterday. Has to be a scam because no one in a legitimate business is open on Memorial Day. Told me the same stuff as everyone else that they were filing a law suit/fraud criminal activity and that I needed to call them back. Tried to call back and guess what phone just rang and rang no answering machine or voicemail available. That is a definate red flag for SCAMMERS! Anyway, got ripped off by scammers once before when I placed an add in paper to sell an item!!!! These guys are really pushing my limits.

Received a called from 646-918-8118 claiming they are from ACC.  Threatening a law suit and jail time.
Wanted information.  As I requested for a phone number to call me, they hang up.  When online and type up this number and sure enough, there's info that is is a scam.

totally dip s**** they call me every day to work saying i took out a pay day loan at cash advance wish i did;nt  ....want me to pay back 8000 or else they would take me to court and pay court cost if i don't show up in court i would be send to jail.......they yell at me ..said so many ugly things on the phone that i just told them to stop calling me to work and told them to f--k off .... nope they have'nt stop calling they call every single day to work and cell phone ..i hang the phone at work and when their number pops in the cell i don't answer.......

I just got a call stating I took a payday loan out a year and a half ago.  I ask him to send me information on when did I take this out, the amount of the loan,  his name and address.  He told me ok and hung up the phone.  This is a scam. They have to send you information if you request it. Then look on your bank statements.  Totally I did not do this.  Got you!!!!

continued calling after I requested he stop, is asking for an employee that no longer works here.  Told me I'm lying and to F-off, screamed at me.  They need to be reported to the authorities

I have received repeated VM's from these people, hardly speak english.  When I finally answered I told him I wanted a printout of my account mailed to me, and he started yelling and threatening me.  I told him what he was doing was illegal and I had kept all his VM's to date, and he hung up on me.  Just keeps calling and calling.  I'm not answering for these fools anymore, that's for sure!

My Son used our number as a message phone.  A Neil Johnson calls at 7am until 7 pm and latter. I told him today to send my son a Certified Letter with contact information and money, debtor owed.  Neil didn't want to do this he just wanted a way to contact my son first person.  I believe with all of you that this is a scam.  Legitimate people will comply with sending information through the mail, they don't mind a paper trail.

They just called and I kept saying "What ???" for about 10 minutes just to drive the guy insane.  He asked for my wife and I said she wasn't home but he could reach her at work.  He said okay and I gave him her work number.  My wife works for the AG's office in the consumer fraud division.

I am sick of getting calls from this number. Today they actually told me that I have no legal rights to see the supposedly lawsuit that was against me.

I just got the same call, he first called my cell phone and then repeatedly called my employer until I told him he better not call me back again.  HUGE SCAM!!!!!

Hi Jane - I just got a very similar call left on my voicemail today from a Jack Fernandez from the special investigations unit of the ACC or ATC or something like that.  It was very difficult to understand him.  He also threatened that my social security number has been compromised and that I immediately needed to contact him to avoid legal action.  Good to know that this stuff is a scam... it would be easy to get concerned and make a quick call without thinking much about it.  It is nice to know that if you search by phone number that you can find information like this.

I received a call from this number saying my social security has been blocked by the United States Government. The call has an indian accent and he says his name is Shawn.

I to have been recieving the same calls sorry but until someone can speak to me in english i will not accept the calls anymore I have not done anything to be sued for and if I have they can go through all the legal hoopla the constiotion inforces companies to go through in order to place a lawsuit....If anyone else sees my messagage, these people are of foriegn tounge and have english names like ADAM SMITH OR JENNIFER CASEY IFu feel like you are truley being sued go to your local courthouse and ask if a suit is pending in your name.  Otherwise just ignore thier calls and messages...

These people can change numbers very quickly but not where the law firm stands they dont want to be traced to a location.. So please people a little awareness here..Sorry Katherine its happened to me over the last week. so if anyone is recieving these calls look for area codes on computer it will tell you right away where the location of the call is coming from 646-918-8118. Keep receiving a call threatening to be arrested and other hateful stuff if I do not take care of this matter about a bad pay day loan.  THIS IS A SCAM.  They have even tried to call my employer!  I am tired of these calls.  What can a person do to get this to stop.

Received a phone call threatening jail time, arrest at the job site,. calling supervisor at work, etc. if I did not pay a bad pay day loan.  This is a scam and if they would speak you name if would be different but they can hardly say their name, etc.  I am sick and tired of them calling, work, phone, cell, and anyone else who will listen to them.  Yelled at me so bad today it was piteful and ourtrageous to say the least.  I told them I called the Attorney General, FBI, etc. and they do not care.  We will arrest you immediately within the hour he stated.  What is a person to do with these SCSAM artists?  They are from the UNITED STASTES LEGAL DEPARTMENT or so they say.  But the number is in New york and has been reported previously.  Can this ever stop?
