Received a call from this number saying it was officer Michael Smith and that there was an illegal complaint against me, I replied he was not even an American, and he hung up.  Called back to the number he gave, does not work

Received call from this numbr 646-929-4863 stating they were with the IRS Attorney Gernals Office in relations to my state taxes.  Name James Weston / passed me on to another individual who stated he was an Police Office.  Ask for address, was located in NY NY.  Please tell me why someone from NY would be collecting any State Taxes I might owe.  I don't live in NY.

Here's a way to report their abuse directly to magicJack.  I've heard they have actually shut off some magicJacks on account of abuse of their terms of service, rendering the magicJacks themselves useless:

They called,  knew my property address, and stated that they were investigating a crime relating to that property.  The caller gave a name of:  John Brown.   and claimed that they were from:  "Federal Investigation Department".  When I inquired about which department in the federal government they were from and what they were investigating, they started to fumble.  Then I asked for their web site address.  I'm in Canada and when I stated that their Top Level Domain name was suspect,  they ended the call very quickly.
