Paying the credit card collection company does nothing to improve your credit. The loan yoy iwed was sold to the collection company. They threaten you because they get 35 percent of every dime they can collect from you. They will make it sound like a great deal to you when in reality its not!

A quick google search shows this number to be Universal Fidelity LP in Houston Texas. They appear to be a full spectrum collection agency.

At this time I am debt free but got a call from them. I was not home to take the call. My call blocker computer showed UFLP with their telephone number but it did not record any message so I added them to my block list. I have a dedicated laptop running CallClerk answering machine/call blocking software. Blocked calls do not ring through but are intercepted and then it hangs the line back up. The numbers of political robo-calls is on the increase too.

Do not identify themselves.  Repeatly called even though requested not to as this is a harrassment technique.  Have even asked for the hospital number where the person is in serious condition.  Abusive and rude.  Call from 7:45am until 10 pm.

THE WORST! Stop calling me!

I get calls from this phone no. at all hours. I am tired of it. Can you stop this from happening anymore?

UFLP or (281) 647-4152 Calls everyday just about sometimes twice a day and I keep hanging up and telling them to stop calling or I'll call the authorities on them.  They don't stop it's so annoying everyday twice or more sometimes.  

This is the second time I received a call from this company.  It's a pre-recorded message telling me it is very important business that can not be discussed on the phone.  If it is so important, why isn't a human making the call?  It leaves a number to call back, but I am wary about calling it back fearing that this is some sort of a scam which will run up my phone bill.

I'm sorry but you are getting scammed.you are losing your money to someone who bought your information.nothing good will come out of this.your making a scammer money. Stop paying this now . you will not gain anything from this! I've already been through it with a lawyer.

This is a scam company, UFLP, allegedly operating out of Houston, Texas.  They send collections from a fake lawyer, but with their letterhead, to scare people.  The Texas Bar Association says there is no "John Lee Jackson" currently licensed to practice law.  They call numerous times in one day and hang up.  They had a Hollywood Video scam going a few years ago after the video store went bankrupt.  My lawyer confirmed they're a scam.  Do not give them any information if you insist on picking up your phone for numbers you don't recognize, and don't call them back.  All you can do is ignore these scammers.  Calling the police is worthless - they can't do a thing to scammers, neither can the FTC, FBI, or your attorney general's office.

I have received 4 calls from this number this week. I don't even live in the U.S.   and I don't have any unpaid debts.... what's scary is that they call me by my first name as if they know me. they don't identify themselves, they just say, "Hey _____, call me back at 281-647-4152".

I think I'm going to be getting a credit report processed real soon and make sure nothing is amiss.

281 647 4155 keeps calling and leaving messages while I'm at work.. I've called twice and asked to be taken off and they say they don't have my name on file.

How do I stop getting harassed by these clowns?

Got numerous calls from number but no message left. I don't answer calls from people I don't know either. Sounds to me like it's just a scam call.

Keeps calling demanding money

These people will not give me info without providing my personal information,  as I was told by my local police department never to do, have NEVER received any mail information from them. I will not respond to phone calls only black and white paper proof that they are who they are. To many scams and companies that get money but report that they didn't or still sell the info for more money!

Calls me every Wednesday around 8pm EST, even when I answer, it's a recording to have me call them back. Call them back, there is no company name on the answering service, you just wait for someone to pick up. The people that work there are very rude. They told me I have 2 outstanding bills, which I know is untrue. When I ask for them to mail me the information, they always hang up. SCAM!!!!!

this # number call me at late  night & middle of night as well.  i have add this # number, to my "don't answer"" list  of number but they still call

These people will not stop calling. I call back and you can  not   talk to anyone. I owe no money to anyone, pay all my bills on time and these idiots say I owe money,, I don't owe anyone in this world a dime... I don't use credit cards, have never asked for store credit. and yet the phone call keeps coming from these people. I'm trying to get them to take my number off and they do not call me back or respond to my voicemail that you have to leave them...

Someone from this number called about 6 months ago threatening that an arrest warrant would be issued if I didn't pay them $800 that day.  They said I took out a payday loan and never paid it.  I told them I had no idea what they were talking about and they wished me luck in jail and hung up.  I called back and said I had name of lawyer to call regarding my "account" and they hung up again.  Burned up their phone, after 4th call they would hang up without saying anything.  

Calls have started again - the same old song and dance "call by 9pm, blah, blah, blah".  

When you do that with them it still hits your credit report...fyi.

These people need to stop calling me

I received my phone # three weeks ago when I opened a new account with Comcast, after moving to Fla from NY. I am receiving an average of 5 calls (recording and persons) a day, from this #, asking for a Fred Allen (not me). Explained many times that I am not him, I don't know anyone by that name and to please take this phone # off their list, to no avail.  this morning the recording stated that if I do not pay they will come knocking at my door. I wish they do..........

THESE ARE ALWAYS COMPUTER GENERATED. I'M NOT RETURNING A CALL. WHY DON'T THEY JUST CALL THEMSELVES?

Constantly get this call saying that it is a debt collector and call back 281 647 4152 - Caller ID says UFLP and no one answers when call back!! very annoying.
