Got a message. I had won $1000.00.

Got a text message from this number to say that I had won $1000. Had to text DAM409842 to 88188. Has SCAM written all over it

Got a message telling me,i won 50 dollar credit.
Why does fido allow this crap.
just text back "STOP"

Same here;  I expect you text back and then they charge you for some premium text message subscription or something like that.  I can't believe Fido allows this s**t on their network.

A lot of people I know received the same message.  Just don't know why they got my number. Must be a scam.

Just got the same message. Has to be a scam. No idea who they are. Texts coming from your provider will identify themselves.

This is a SCAM watch yourself. They will be able to charge your account everymonth for an insane amount.

just got the text message about the $50 credit. i knew it was a scam so i googled it, n here i am. almost nobody ever gets anything for free, dont waste ur time (and privacy) on replying to these.

April 14th got this text "Congratulations! You've won $1000! Text "DAM409842" (without quotes) to the following five-digit phone number "88188" to claim your prize. on Telus

I received the message "As aloyal customer we want to credit you $50 ".

Same message, its a Scam. but too late, I have already text back. Now lets see whats on my next bill.

Just got it on Fido. First one. I feel lucky!

Im on telus and also just got this message... when you text back it probably charges a high rate for the text and the company makes money. Most 5 digit numbers you text make additional fees off the text.

got the same msg about the grand texted back suck my balls hope i dont get charged for that
