I do not want any call from this number

Called me and asked for me by full name. Didn't want to deal with them so hung up.

They are calling repeatedly to see if you are home and building a profile, you will sooe be robbed when you are away, these people are pure cowards through and through, get your little intruder surprise ready if you know what I mean.

When I called the number back it was the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs??  No one was available to speak with me.

I answered 647-247-1759 on Saturday night (January 5, 2013) around 9:00 - a man said it was a "courtesy" call from the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs.  Not impressed.  Told him I was on the DNC listings and to remove my name and telephone number from all contacts.
If it was a call authorized by the Fire Chiefs it was unwise for them to hire an aggressive telemarketing firm.  I do volunteer and donate to charities that I respect and have researched.

I just let my fax machine answer these calls.  Just remember to answer the ones you do know before the fax does.

Scum just keep calling so much for that useless government DNC list.  It should be any and all numbers including charities.  If I think your worth my money I will call you

Got a call from here today.  Selling a 7 day crews to the Bahamas and a 5 Day Vacation in Mexico and it's yours for pushing one.  Someone gets on the other line chats you up asking all sorts of useless questions and ends up trying to consolidate all your debts while on the line.  Needing to know of course credit card numbers and such.  Just hung it up.

They keep calling and there's dead air, nothing is said!

I have recently received more than one call from Constant Research Network including one this morning at 6:45 A.M. when my wife and I were sleeping.   It was recorded messages. We were really annoyed and I hope they never call again.

These people used to call from 647-724-8581 incessantly then when I finally called back and put my number into their remove list, they called from this number. Unfortunately they are using a loophole in the system so if you report them the gov't can't do anything about it. People are allowed to call you for survey reasons. DO NOT answer the questions as this can a) get your number sold to parties that cater to your answer b) will keep calling you for whatever survey they have as they think you are gullible and c) will put your answers into a group for something you didn't know or want to be a part of (e.g. TV commercials stating 90% of Canadians support Quebec separation, which then influences negatively on the public even though the statistic was gained by false methods)

They call my cell phone daily. They should just announce themselves as Constant Harassment Network.

The phone rings, I answer, and there's no one there.
Going through my call display history, I see they call me about once a week.
And I see a couple of other 647-247-XXXX numbers that have been calling too - and there's just dead air when I answer the phone.
WHY aren't there laws stopping this sort of thing?!?!

picked up and it was an automated message from a woman who said she was Roberta from Constant research network. For completing her survey you can win a cruise for two to the Bahamas because the ship is not at capacity..then the line suddenly cut off. I have received calls where this same message was played through different numbers.

same thing, ontario shows up on call display then they hang up. even got a call 7 am saturday morning, finally today voice talks instead of hanging up ( automated voice) it says take short survey get cruise to bahamas. 3 questions, 2 are the same question. wait after survey for reservation number, so i wait so i can give a piece of my mind , you are 5th in line, you are 4th inline etc etc all the way down to 2 then it hangs up. i thought for sure someone would answer telling me to give credit card info, not sure excactly what the scam is if they are hanging up all the time but something is up for sure......

The cal and call and when I pick up there is on one there. This is very frustrating. Has gotten to the point where we don't answer the phone.

When I picked up the phone, a recording was already running, saying something about I have a chance to win a 2 day cruise.  I hung up.  I have received several calls with the identical recording from similar phone numbers in the past week  (647-247-1754 & 647-247-1749).

Just hang up!

647-247-1759 just called and when I answered, I just heard a click.  I tried calling the number back and got a busy tone.  Can't the gov't be more proactive and do something about this?

getting 3 calls a day from this number- answer it - no one there - like a bad obscene phone call without the breathing - tried blocking - but then I get calls from the same number - but with one number changed in it - enough is enough already.  What ticks me off is I have an unlisted number - couldn't understand how they would get it - then found out when you register your number with the federal do not call list - foreign countries get those lists from the government - and can call - because they are not under our countries jurisdiction - nice eh?

Same A***oles.  Different number (last two digits migrating up).
