This is driving me crazy ... "roberta" starts at 8 am and calls every three or four hours. I've had enough. Constant Research Network.

Hate this Brenda or Barbara bi*** beyond words can describe... Someone please help find a solution because I'm about to f****ng hunt this lady down and slaughter her to piece.

If you're on a cell get MR. Number Call Block application. Every time an unwanted caller calls, just hang up, then check you phone history in MR Number and you can block that number- Your phone only rings once, then hangs up.

Only problem is these robo-calls keep dialing with a different number showing up. Hopefully someone can find the root number and block that.

We've been getting these automated survey calls for months. They do give an option to press 9 to be removed from the call list which has never seemed to work, BUT:

I wanted to give a Heads up!*****I've pressed 9 before when prompted to be removed MANY times and it's like the automessage doesn't accept it. Today I pressed 9, then I waited...and then I pressed 9 again and go figure an automated voice came on and said something like "Your request has been received you will be removed from our call list." So it seems this stupid auto-message accepts it if you press 9 more than once, but if you only press 9 one time it won't accept it.*****

Unmanned calls are illegal, the DNC does work... for people who obey the law.  These people are fraudsters, so that mens thay don't care about breaking the law.  They want your credit card information, I highly doubt they care about when you are at home.  They are identity theft fraudsters.

I have been receiving calls from this number at 6 am ! Not happy!!!!

I have received tons of these calls - "Research Institute"? Here's my take on it. It is a computer programmed to call homes to see if there are residents in the house and establish a pattern of absence from the home and report this back to someone in BC. I can only think there must be something in it for them otherwise they would not continue to phone at all hours? Am I just crazy? Yes the DNC legislation is a joke and any unmanned calls by computers should be make illegal.

The DNCL is pointless now, we tried doing that and seemed to get 100% MORE cAlls just from different numbers.

My 5th call today. Getting real tiered of these nuisance calls where they don't leave a message or have the decency to talk. I'm also getting these calls on my cell phone. Can't wait to find out who they are so they can pay my cell bills !!!!!!!!!

This outfit calls 4 or 5 times a day for the past 6 months - never leaves a message, if you answer no one is on it to tell off. VERY annoying.

The phone company should fine them $5 for every complaint listed online against them - I would be happy to take the time to lodge a complaint every single time they call just so they'd bugger off already.

I've just had a thought, if there is a computer whiz type out there in Toronto it sure would be AWESOME if you could write a little program to dial that number repeatedly and endlessly for say, 6 months! =) I would be most happy to sit and dial it myself on those jerks if I weren't in Alberta. Maybe if they got a taste of unwanted callers tying up THEIR phone line they'd knock it off.

I have had calls from this number almost every hour or less today. I have call display so I don't pick it up but I'm tempted to next time and give them a piece of  my mind

Yes we are on the DNCL and this company called at 3:15 AM last night!

Got an automated call from "Rebecca at Constant Research Network" at 3:15 AM last night, very upsetting as when the phone rings at that hour you automatically think it's bad news about a loved one. Frikin idiots this has got to be illegal, and we are on the DNCL. Grrrrr!!!!

Received multiple call from this number today. The first time I answered no one talked at the other side so I hung up.  From there, I blocked the call on my wireless home phone. They called 3 other times after that...

I too rev=ceived a call from "Roberta" promising a cruise if I answered their survey - punched the pound sign (#) abiur 7 or 8 times ans caused a disconnect.  If I get another I put them on my call block.
I only answered this call because it showed Area code 647, which is local in Toronto and may have been someone I know calling.  I think I now have 29 other telephone numbers blocked.

I got 3 calls only today!!! Since a couple months I received many call from weird phone numbers.  So if someone really need to talk leave me a message!!!

5 calls so far today. Call bock stops it but why can't we (our gov't) do something about these jerks?

Unfortunatly my call block is full so I can,t block this no. Get at least 2calls a day.

Answered to hearing prerecording "this is roberta, blah, blah, blah, take our survey and we'll send you on a cruise"

This number has called repeatedly this week but never leaves a message. They called three times today and when I decided to answer, there was nothing but dead space then disconnection. I looked the number up with 411 reverse and was told this number does not exisit with 411. I am on the DNCL.
