Just received this 'offer', and found this site. I have to pay for that text SENT to me. Who do I scream at about that?

Do NOT click on the shortend http link embedded in this SMS TXT scam.  The originating phone number is spoofed and a dead end.  The embedded short link is the dangerous content.  

The short link is a *customized tracking link* that let's these scammers know that YOUR number is a live SMS TXT recipient at the phone number that they, initially, blindly spammed.  All you need to do to let them know their SMS SPAM hit a LIVE number is to click on that embedded link.  The LINK pings back, in their databases, to your phone number.  This is a slick form of SPAM marketing.  Clicking the link will target you for more SPAM (calls, SMS TXT).  

claim5.com redirects to tracking.cpakingdom.com.  cpakingdom.com, in turn, is an alias for cpaking.go2cloud.org, which is hosted in the Amazon Elastic Computing Cloud (Amazon EC2).

So basically it's some scammer/spammer using a Canadian telco prefix and then hoping people visit their lamo site hosted by a scammer in Hong Kong. Not much you can do about the texts but you could certainly hammer their servers  ;-)

Received a text message claiming we'd won a $1,000 Victoria's Secret Shopping Spree. Apparently somone told them I needed both new underwear And accompanying "Ooh La La's" ! Too bad it was steaming bs! ...However, it Did remind me, with Valentines Day approaching, a trip to Victoria's Secret isn't such a bad idea....Walmarts underwear department, unfortunately, yet undeniably, lacks said "Ooh La La" factor!. ..  So, I have to wonder then, is this message a basic scam, a subconscious marketing strategy or truthfully, a Public Service Announcement!

i got the same message on my phone, i didnt open it, rather i googled the number and saw similar posts, so i deleted it right away.

FYI. My brother got this earlier today.  He said that there was a $10 charge pending on his account after his wife accidentally opened it.  So, check your bills if you actually opened the SMS.
