I recently canceled Comcast and have these idiots calling and hanging up on me.  They are a contractor associated with Comcast.  I just called them back and gave them an earful for harassing people--calling and hanging up on them.  A-holes!

I cancelled my Comcast because I was not happy with their service and product. It was insane to pay so much to get very little and too much to get bundles that I don't need (even with the promotional offer). They do not have reliable, quality high speed internet that's affordable. I also get annoyed with companies that have aggressive sales tactic on the front end (it seems so good to be true) and offer incredibly dissatisfactory service on the cancellation end.

Once you're in, the service is imbalanced - offering very little and trying to up sale to offer basic products that they should've offered in the first place. Who uses 100% of their bundle packages? At the end of our relationship, when I had dropped off the leased equipment to their store nearby, it is of little surprise to me that the line and service is slooooooowwww at their San Francisco store. For example, their Potrero Hill Store has10 work stations/point of sale desks to assist up to 10 customers at a time at 9:30AM. I had dropped by the afternoon before, and the line was just as bad. Why there were only 4 employees servicing the nearly 20 customers waiting in line is beyond me. Folks - that 40% performance rate is that Comcast is offering their customers. I spent 30 minutes waiting in line. Is that a long time to wait? I suppose not, if customers have nothing else to do...but really, who want to spend their time waiting in another line? After I left, I thought it was over.

Nope. The calls continued come from 855-880-1480. It's fine if Comcast wants to follow up and offer promotions. It's not fine for these calls to come constantly and for them to hang up on me. I finally called them back, surprised that someone answered, and I calmly asked to be removed from their calling list. The lady on the other end was professional and helpful. She did ask me a few questions such as the telephone number associated with my account, confirmed my address, and then assured me that I will be taken off the calling list.

It is incredibly annoying to get these phone calls and for the record, I received another call from 855-880-1480 an hour after I called. Is this acceptable? No, I think they can do a lot better.

Seriously Comcast, have you looked at your self lately? Someone at Comcast needs figure out three things:

1. How to come up with better product that meets a customer's need - basic, reliable, fast internet that's not an arm and a leg and doesn't drop all the time.

2. Store presence could meet the needs of their customers, such as bringing up the employee to customers ratio. Basic math: If Comcast has 10 Point of Sale Counters, then at least 8 counters need to be filled. Yes, that would be 80% potential to assist customers. More employees to serve customers is a good thing. Why? Because Comcast doesn't seem to value their customer's time.

3. Have great product, have great service and stop harassing former customers like me with these "promotional offers," because it's too late. I just don't feel that way anymore.

You just don't have something that I love or want.

Same story Comcast...I tried to call them... trying to get through and every time I did.... the message said it would be 15 min wait time..This is after their crappy phone options menu....I decided I did not want to wait 15 min if I want to speak to customer service. Plus when I did finally get through they wanted to charge me 50 dollars for a service call when it was obviously the issue with their signal not getting to my house.  I didn't want to pay this fee...so they could fix their issue...I canceled and will go with someone else.  The problem is now days billion dollar companies think they can treat people this way and get away with it. Crap ola....goodbye comcast....

Just cancelled comcast within a week of services and now this phone number will not stop calling me.  I called back and it said something about comcast.  Now when I answer, nobody is there and it calls me 3-4 times a day.

I also cancelled my Comcast service because my bundle was ending.  From my first bill it was higher than quoted, and now that it's ending they tell me I can just get another bundle or service.  Hmm, what's the point if it will be higher than they tell you on the phone.  I received 3 of their calls yesterday during work on only 1 so far today, but I'm sure there will be more.  I was afraid to pick it up because of the scamming that I hear of when the receiver gets charged.  Thanks for the update.

Keep getting calls from this number, every time I answer they hang up within seconds. When I call back it says it's Comcast calling about promotional offers, but nobody ever picks up, it just rings and then hangs up.  Called Comcast directly to have my number removed and they continue to call!  I had to cancel because I moved into a place with Comcast service already......and now I doubt I'll be going back to Comcast after this crap!

I too , cancelled Comcast, they have been calling my phone day and night since then.
I answer - they inform me they want to tell me about new services - I say "No thank you" , they keep calling.. The more I say "no" the more they call.
They call a minimum of three times a day. Yesterday I told the gentleman on the phone to stop calling me and let me speak to a supervisor if necessary to be removed from their list.
His reply was that even if I was on a formal Do Not Call list, they had 30 days in which to keep calling, and I need to provide them with the date I requested they stop calling before the 30 days kicked in. In the meantime they would keep calling.
I said something impolite, along the lines of WTF? and told him that I have repeatedly told him and his Comcast army of idiots I wasn't interested in their new product, It should take less than 30 days to understand that, so for them to keep calling me 3 times a day was harassment and I was going to file a formal complaint. He said no matter what I do, they legally still have 30 days to keep calling me even if I ask them to stop.

Way to keep those customers, Comcast! Harass them into coming back!

Same as everyone else, cancelled comcast. They've been uping my bill every six months for over two years now got up to $170 plus and they charge us $5 to turn our boxes back on after a power outage< which we had nothing to do with ( that's $5 per box, we had three) and the power usually goes out twice a month around here for some reason. Soooo we went with FIOS very happy about that. If comcast doesn't know what they're doing wrong to cause customers to cancel then they should re-evaluate their system of operation

Repeated calls, leave no message, do not come on the line when I pick up. Cancelled service with Comcast a few days ago. I cancelled their service for a reason and if they wanted to know why, that was the time to ask me. Don't call me daily afterwards.
