Very aggressive caller. I asked for their website - they don't have one. Scam.

Called me and when I asked who he was he simply gave his name. He asked for Mr. mylastname (aka xyz) so I asked who he was calling on behalf of? To this I met a rude response of: "If you're not Mr. xyz, that's fine, we'll call back later" and I said "No, don't call back, don't want to hear from you." He says "Well when Mr. Xyz tells me that we wo--" So I cut him off and I said "Yea? Well I'm Mr. XYZ, so don't call back." He gets aggravated (must be his first day on the job) and asked why I'd lie to him in the first place? to this I said "Because I'm sick of you f*cking telemarketers wasting my time, go f*ck yourself" and hung up.

Called back, it is some charity or w/e affiliated with Toronto Police trying to milk donations. Too bad I didn't get to a live person to complain about that as$hole that had just called me.

Just got a call from this number asking for a donation saying it is the Toronto Police Association.  I said I would send a cheque if they send me the info.  Was told I would get an invoice and self addressed envelope.  Lets see.  Think it is a Scam!  Guy said his name was Paul Woodman.

recevied this call asking for a donation for the beach boys concert. They claimed to be the TO police..

The phone claim that it is Toronto Police asking  donation for kids' one day trip in Wonderland. Believe or not. I hate this cold call. No caller I.D. God knows who they are.

I received 3 calls within the last 4 days from this number and they do not speak but stay on the line.

same here.they call repeatedly nd asked me to pay by credit card.

another round of scam callers.....i'm getting this one too.....the police do not endorse any soliciting over the phone.......i just don't answer my phone....even saying hello is giving them too much information.....cheers

I keep on getting the same cals myself. Well I'm a bit glad that I analize almost everything now a days. We have to be careful people. This call that the Police Dept. keep on making is a CENSUS call. For the people that don't know what CENSUS is, census the offical counting of population. Don't give them ANY information on yourselves.

Keep getting calls from the Toronto Police Assn despite having asked them to remove my name from their calling list.
How do I get them to stop?

Received a call on Dec. 9/09 at 3:30 p.m.  
Caller didn't leave a message. I called back the number, background music
for just a second can be heard, then it automatically goes busy.

the number 647-722-5917 just called my as well but when i picked up, there was no answer then they hung up.....

They called us last night during dinner. We had guests so I didn't answer. Of course no message was left.

They call repeatedly although I am on the do not call list and have asked them at not to call back. they use extremely aggressive sales techniques

This caller told me that he is calling from police foundation and need a donation. I said that I am not interested. But the I am getting the call again and again.
