i received  a phone call from that same phone number. its weird because is a machine, they haven't left any voicemails yet. it just says to press any number to talk to them. Hope they stop calling soon .

I got a call today from this number: 647-724-1031 and it was a recorded message saying that I have property that does not belong to me.
I don't have such goods or any debt, this seems to be a scam.

Got a call from this number and it reads off some message gives you a toll free number and then hangs up. Very threatening

i got called from this number just 10 mins ago. Its harsh and totally a threat... If you have a heart attack.. You die on the spot. You can sue these people/company for such damages.

The men called and not saying hello" or hi" the soon I answered my phone and I said hello, the men on the other line threatening me that its a "legal call and cannot be ignore otherwise I will be prosecuted". I been saying hello" hello" what are you calling about?" hello". But this men don't stop talking on the phone seems reading an article (maybe he has something to read in his hand).

I am not criminal!!!! for God sake!!! Whoever is this company, we have legal law in Canada for consumer protection against harassment.

You cannot harass people for any reason.. (telemarketer, collections, auctions or whatever).

Also, you cannot call the same and the same every day its harassment (limit call 3 times a w-e-e-k). If you are working on debtor, collection or any agency that calling people, make sure you read the law first!

If people your calling is felling threaten, become ill, stress, these people you called have all the right to sue your company for damages.

I just got a call from this same 647 area code number today, with a threatening recording that was done wrong - I got the tail end of the message - then a pause - then the message recorded from the beginning.  It was scratchy - couldn't make out the name at all and the 1-866 number he left was also hard to make out.  Definitely terrorizing - I feel freaked out that there is something wrong I have done that I am somehow not aware of.  It definitely plays on your confidence seems to prey on unsuspecting, honest people.

I am receiving calls from this people on my CELL PHONE...This is a scam for sure... Do not call them back.... Call and complain to CRTC? and your phone carrier...

I keep on getting calling from this number. I blocked it. It goes to voicemail.
I filed complains. But, nothing is improving.
Where is this company located?I really want to bomb this caller.

got the same bs message.....not a solicitation call, you may or may not be in possession of items you may or may not be entitled to and have to be returned....blah, blah, blah.....

I've been getting a call from 647-724-1031 daily for about two weeks. They call after dinner and when I answer there is a recording of a threatening voice saying that I have property that does not belong to me and that this is a federal offense. It's really starting to freak me out because the voice is so threatening.

First the repeated annoying call came from these two numbers: 1-866-993-1995; 1-760-705-8888. After several days, the number changed to the above with the same idioting recorded message. Isn't there no way to stop these idiots harassing law-abiding publics?

Forgot to mention the part where it said "Due to the legality of this call, I may not leave any personal information on your voice mail"

Yeah, they just called me, and left a voice mail, saying that they left me a voice mail in the past two days. And then they said that something I've "recently acquired" may not belong to me...But since I haven't acquired anything recently, I grew suspicious. That's when I decided to Google the number that called, and got sent here. I'm glad I'm not the only person having an issue with these people...Also, I have no idea how they got my cell phone number, unless it's from the previous user of the number.

At one point a pre-recorded (non-automated) message came on when I answered.
I forget the name but it was basically someone telling me to call global credit agentcy.
Its rather annoying, I don't owe them anything
And I figure they would ask me in person rather than a recording over and over and never leaving a message!

What I want to know is how in the hell do these idiots get my number considering its a cell?

These people keep calling my house for someone who don't live here, and now there calling and saying that this person has property of there's and they want it back...... This is debt collector and there falsely representing themselves, which is deceitful, CRTC needs to control this crap, these people call my house from 7 in the morning until 11 at night, I'm so sick of this being allowed...... I am a 60 year old women and I have told them numerous times this person does not live here and yet they continue to harass me........

I just received a call from this number, when I call back the company answered Global Credit....I don't own them or anyone anything so not sure why they are calling me....

We get call from this nunber (647 724 1031) almost on daily basis in recent two weeks. Even if you picked the phone there was alwyas machine record requesting you call a 1866 some number for personal buisness matters. This is very annoying and we wonder why such number is not blocked by CRTC.
