Global Telelinks is a company that does provide cheap VOIP services based in india, claim to be based in Switzerland.

DO NOT Fall for any traps, this Global Telelinks us a fraud company. Once they have your credit card number, they will deduct money from your account without asking you..and fill up talktime that you dont need.

So far I have bee victimized twice this year, in spite of having complained the first time. Now waiting for a resolution the second time!

Even I got a call today from this number couple of times. I am registered in the DNC list then why the heck these ppl keep calling? No voice msgs left!

This number (647) 724-9458 called my home number at 10PM. Oh My God! Can't our Government make some stiff rules for such spam callers who wake you up while you are deep asleep; and have to go 2 works next morning? DNC they don’t care about DNC as a matter of fact they find your number from DNC and that way you get MANY MORE SPAM CALLS. Be4 I was not registered with DNC in USA and CANADA; I got few spam calls but right after few days from DNC registration thing, I got FLOOD OF SPAM CALLS. So guys BEWARE of this DNC which results in FLOODING of SPAM CALLs. Telemarketing should be completely BANNED. It is like a CANCER disease on our society..

I get several call from this number in a day. Do these people realy think they are doing good marketing by pestering people. I would never subscirbe to their services even if they offered at half the price as compared to others.

This is realy a problem. I got calls from this number many times. Once I tried to contact, no one pick the phone.

I got a call from this number today, They are offering a long distance calling to India....they are trageting only South Asian and they speak in Hindi.
I have regist. my number on DNC list. but i still get these kind of calls.

Who ever is calling from this number is just crazy person. I am receiving calls in day time midnight times, i am really fade-up.

I have been receiving calls from this company after 11pm, twice on a Sunday evening after 11pm. This is highly ILLEGAL and I plan on lodging a formal complaint. I work for a telecommunications company in canada and am quite familiar with the timeframe as to when a company can telemarket and when the cannot. This company is breaking the law in a big way.

Just got a call from this  number to my Dad's cellphone (which is listed on the DNC register).

The caller offered long-distance plans. Dad politely said "No".

She's lucky it wasn't me answering - I'm not so polite!!

Yes, they target people with "ethnic" names, trying to sell them "cheap" long distance, assuming they have relatives overseas they will want to talk to. I have an indian name and all the telemarketers they call with are indian sounding.

However, like so many of these companies the phone system they use is pathetic and cannot complete their own calls 75% of the time.

They also use google voice and skype transports for their calls so you can't block them without also blocking anyone else trying to call you on skype.

They are scam artists and total crooks. They should be pursued by the law, but of course they will not be, and even if they are they can shut their doors and reopen them within the time it takes them to call you 10 times and hang up on you accidentally.

ok dudes .. after looking in to this matter. i actually got so fed up of these guys calling that one day i decided to actually let the guy speak. Its a bunch of guys selling prepaid credit and they have your info if your from overseas. Then they'll (try) and find a guy who is from where you are and get him to call you and even go as far as talking to you in your native language.They know where your from and they try and sell you prepaid air time. I ripped the last guy apart and even got him to admit he was using an alias. No point reasoning with such people so my advice to is to block the number or put your on the DNC. Hopefully they wont call me after today !

7am call (Vancouver time) on a Saturday.  Global Telelinks seems to have me on target lock as I live in Canada and have an East Indian surname...Half the dead-air or no-message numbers I Google trace back to them.

We had these calls once or twice a day for a couple weeks...I was scared to call back in case it was some sort of long distance scam  but today I finally did and asked who are you and why do u call and hang up on me??...well he said they are global links or global telelinks or something and took my landline number (I called from my cell) and said he would remove my number from their calling list....we shall see what happens!

hi, I have been receiving similar kinds of dumb calls from this number 6477249458 , if many people are getting disturbed, I think we should inform to government or police to catch the culprit. Does anyone know, how we can complain to Police or some Government department about this number?

some mother f****r making these calls this is f****n stupid

I have been getting calls frequently from this # 647-724-9458 recently also. They just called my cell 10 mins ago, which is how I ended up on this forum trying to track this #. I've never answered the calls and from what the rest of you are saying, I won't, as they just keep hanging up. However, I just called the # back from a land line, and it's for Global Telelinks. I hit 3 for customer service as per the prompts, a guy answered, I asked him who they are and why they keep calling me. He advised they are marketing pre-paid frequent calling services. He advised they will stop calling. He didn't ask for any info or ph# from me, so I'm guessing his caller-id displayed the # I was calling from and they'll remove it from there auto-dialer; I'll need to possibly call them again from my cell# to have that # removed as well.
