I've received several calls a day from this number, according to my call display at home. While checking this number on the internet, I found a site which states this number belongs to a telemarketer in Riceville, Iowa.  Perhaps, calls are being routed through that exchange by scammers.  Who knows? With computerized calls, the person inputs his or her own 'originating' phone number, so it could be invented or taken from a legitimate business. Too many phone calls are coming from 'unknowns'.

The phone number 647 725 2170 originates from a robot dialer operated by Globility Communications Corporation.  Globility Communications has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau.  647 725 2170 is not the full phone number.  This robot dialer is using a couple of international phone numbers 011 64 7 725 2170  and 011 1 647 725 2170 to cover its identity.  It is unlikely that the calls are originating from a political party who trying to gain your support.

If you don't want someone calling you, all if you have to do is pick up and say that.

They called me & asked for me by name, then hung up when I told them that they had reached me.

It's the Green Party of Ontario, not Canada.

Calling again and again and no idea about that number....Pissed off

They have called the past 8 business days, once per day. Apparently this is the green party. I have previously asked GPC to stop calling me and they still call.

Green party I think, calling me every single day for a month now. Really needs to stop.
