If you win something, you do NOT have to pay money to receive your "award".  This is a well known scam!

I got the same letter and check, googled it, YES it is a scam. 4/8/2014

Got the same on March 10th. I wish there was a way to get this $3,875.00 check cash and scam them!!! Just when you think "Oh Wow, I won something" you look at little deeper and realize this is too good to be true!

I got the same letter that says it's from Jeff Tylah.

Hahahaha! I got one too. I knew it was scam, I never win anything! Same deal-check for $3,875.00, send him a check for $1,87.00 and you win $125,000.00. Well, I checked the Internet, found this site and then I called him back and asked if he was Jeff Tylah, he said yes and then I said: Are't u wanted by the United States FBI for running this lottery scam. I told him his check was worthless and it was a huge scam-hell the letter didn't even look official.
Guess what? He hung up on me. Haahahahahaha.

Don't fall for it people. Remember one simple rule: If it sounds to good to be true, Then it probably is. :)

I received the same letter today! But looking at the # on this site, it appears as though he has a different # this time around. I have 1 647 860-0599, and his name is Jeff Tylah! I wish i knew how to report this. I dont know who i should contact? Any ideas?

I believe the person using this number is wanted by the FBI

I would bet he is on the run, I seen this on 60 mins where this guy took  millions off a scam like this before and he fled Canada before the Feds could get him. It surely sounds like the same scam. What happen before was that he would tell you to cash the check and when you did you had to give him a check your check was good but his was only good when you bank made a request but when it came to collect he withdrew the money and you were stuck and he had yours.

We need to contact the FBI and let them know about this, if it is the same guy just maybe they can get him before he leaves the country

USD will be sent. Try to call the number and the number does not work.

I just received the same and am wondering if this is a scam, however if it is I will contact the FBI and find out about any scams coming out of Canada. The United States can go after people in Canada if any fraud is happening I don't know what to think about this they say it is sponsored by Walmart and other giant companies. I will seek the truth
