I received one of these checks also but it is from Readers Digest not Publishers Clearing House.

got the same letter/check... area code 647 is in Canada...got a similar one a couple months ago. Different "Company" but similar circumstances... I might just call readers digest and/or Publishers Clearinghouse directly.

I got the same letter and I reported it to the IC3 Complaint Dept. of the FBI fraud division. that looked like a real check too. Might have my bank call that bank to verify the funds and report it as a fraud check.

NO CALL GOT A LETTER SAYING I WON A PRIZE FROM PUBLISHERS CLEARING HOUSE FOR 119,000.00 WITH A CHECK FOR 3,723.00 AND I NEED TO CALL THEM TO START THE CLAIMING PROCESS . DIDN'T FALL FOR IT THE CHECK IS FROM COLUMBUS,OH THE LETTER CAME FROM CANADA
