Just got a message from this number saying, "Hey i got a suprise for u guess wats tat?"

The conversation then went like this:

Me: Ummm, who is this?
Him: Is this lily?
Me: Nope. You have the wrong number.
Him: Lol very very sry wats ur name?
Me: Not Lily. :)

I then searched the number as a precaution, saw this website and texted him this:
"Have you considered psychological counseling? For a whackjob like yourself, it would be beneficial!"

Needless to say, I don't expect any more replies. :)
Oh, and his spelling was just awful. Maybe if he learned how to use proper English, he wouldn't come across as so unintelligent and his scam might work a little better. Pathetic.

I recd the same text from 647 969 1626. I did not call it and usually don't call back if it is unknown number because you do not know if it is a chargable toll number or not. I am with Virgin Mobile.

Got two messages at back to back from this guy saying "hey i got a surprise for u guess wats tat?". When I asked who it was he said "R u lily?" then said "Lol sry sry wats ur name?"

Didn't msg him back and haven't heard anything since.

We got strange messages from the number as well...

Got a text from 647 969 1626 on july 26th at 6:39 pm saying, " Hey i got a surprise for you guess wats tht?" I ignored it.... but if i get one more text.. this mother fu*kers' info is getting to the cops.

Got a call on January 9 from 647-969-1626, with the message 'Hey i got a sweet surprise for u.. Guess wats tat?"    Just simply ignored it.

who ever it is they sent me the same s**t i told em i put the number in on google and people are talking about who ever it is ... they said they didnt believe me .... then i said ill call the cops and they f***ed off

Got the text from 6479691626 (647-969-1626) saying "Hey I got a sweet surprise for you". I wrote back "Who is this?". Reply text came in "John". I wrote back, "one more msg and it goes to the cops". Further texts stopped.

got the same msg and even called and hang-up really quick. I recently lost my phone at yorkdale mall. At first i thought this person got my phone, then later told me calm down just wanna be friends with me..WTF..

when I threatened to go 2 the cops he said

Received a text from this number saying

and then he called me .. i picked up.. it was a man's voice and hung up

and i didnt reply to that
he texted again saying
"whats ur name?"

Received the same text message last night at 12:30am. Is there a reporting website for the police? By reading the above comments, this sounds like a predator.

Yup, got that same message today. Whoever it was even called me, and hung up when I answered the phone. Don't know what his deal was. Asked if my name was "Lily", then claimed to be "Indian Guy" after I asked him his name. He asked my age too.

I reported the number to my local police division as this constitutes harrassment and receiving text messages aren't free for me...

The text messages said the same as above but also asked me repeatedly "how old are you?"

Yeahh I got a text message from this number,
and he asked if my name was Tina. Now this person won't stop messaging me :|

BTW... It was actually my birthday a few days ago... Very weird...
