Sorry but you are wrong it comes up Zenta and they are a collection agency it tells you that on some of the postings on this site

They called me yesterday at work without identifying themselves and then proceeded to ask me to verify the last four digits of my social security number in regards to an "important business matter". I asked specifically what this matter was and the man on the other end just repeated the line. I told him to eff off. they called me again today at the same time.

The scarey thing is that he was correct about the last four digits of my s.s. number. How did he get it? Can they cause any damage with it? Who can I contact to help out in this matter?

In the meantime, I suggest anyone who gets a call should go all out "Pacino" on the guy on the other end.

Just so you all know this is not a collection agenciy,I did a reasch on this company if you want to know more about who is calling from this # please see the web site and u will see that its a company that put's Marketting People to call randamly to cell phones and home phones. This is just something I did on my own free will do to like I said before i just got this call today at 2:07 PM California time, just follow the link below and read everything about this company it has to do with alot but no with collections.

they have been calling everyday for a week now, i never answer it and they never leave a message so i decided yesterday to look the number up and i find this place. so today i sat and waited for the call from them, due to a bathroom break i missed the first call and when they called back a few hours later i answered it i said "midway police department how may i help you?" but they was dead air for a few seconds then a guy with an accent asked for my by my first and last name so i said again "this is the midway police department" they guy didnt know what to say after that lol he was all "oh um im looking for this person im sorry maybe a wrong number" then he hung up. lets see if he calls back again, if so next call i will play someone thats about to kill someone and he will hear a murder live on the phone hahaha.

650 230 1966 keeps calling... it says "TATA COMMUNICATIONS" on my caller i.d.   I have never answered the calls.  I won't.  How can I get rid of these calls without paying money?

I received a phone call from this number 650-230-1966 today, I anwsered and no one was on the other end.

Got a call from this group today, they are a scam as far as I am concerned.  A kid with an Indian-'ish accent came on the line afte about a 10 second pause (usually this means they are working in a predictive dialer that is either out of sequence, or it is transferring the call between several servers and the time lapse is due to the multiple hops the call route takes).  

I knew as soon as the voice came on that something not-so-Kosher was afoot, so I waited for him to has for my wife; I replied she was not at home; he asked for better time to c/b and I asked who he was and what this was regarding; he said it was 'personal business'.  I said he was selling something and he got very agitated and started shouting 'no sir!  I am NOT selling ANYTHING... " I told him to calm down and to not return a call, ever. I then ended the call.

The caller ID said "Moutain Vie CA and the number was 650-230-1966. Reading the other posts it fits the provile of a debt collector-scam that some of yuou reported. I would treat this call as toxic, give them no information and if they continue to call then block the number as suggested on the first page of these posts.

I looked at the 'company website' for Zenta, they are all over the place with offices in NY, TX, DE, Mubai, India, Thailand... obviously they do not want anyone catching up to them. MANTA has no record of them as a legitmate business either.

This call went to my answering machine; left no message. I called right back. Man answering was very hard to understand. He wanted Kevin; I told him Kevin does not have this number and has not had it for almost 6 years. Also, my number was on the DNC list and I wanted these calls stopped. He asked for my name, I refused, he asked my SS#, I refused. He said he could not remove my number without that information. I told him I knew the law regarding the DNC, and I would report him if they called again. I'll just have to wait and see.

They called to collect a debt that I know nothing about! Never herd of the account they are asking about.

Called and wanted us to pay on a credit account we didn't have in 2003! I had no idea what they where talking about! Don't know what they are up to, but I don't like it! Makes me worried of how much of my info they do have!!

Calls every day. Their calls wake me up early on weekends. I have told them it's the wrong number, and that I don't know the person they are trying to reach. I also asked to have my number taken off the list, but they won't do it.

Claiming I owe a credit card debt. I have not had a CC in 10 years, could not even pronounce my last name correctly and were using a very old address. i would not verify any information

Calls 2 or 3 times a week.  Asks for Randall A. - Who is this person??  We have received calls for Randall A for three years.  Tell companies that we do not know him.  Have had the same phone number for 3 years.  Ask to have our number removed, give them our name, etc.  We still get the calls from this number.  Last call was 3/7/11 - informed them I would look up their number and if called again would contact a lawyer or the police department.  Probably still won't get number removed.  This is crazy.  Do they not know how to verify a telephone number??

This number is becoming a habit, they ask for information that I will not give out to unknown people and won't state their business.

I continue to get calls from this number, and they have the wrong person that they are making an inquiry about.  I get at least 15 calls a day from this number EVERY DAY. enough is enough

Keep getting call with nobody on other end!! Need it to stop!! Very frustrating!!!

I get these calls all the time but they have never left a message until today.  Had the nerve to tell me to stand by for the next representive.  Yeah right.  I have no idea who they are.  Gave no name so I unplugged the phone and ended the call.  I have Frontier and called to see how to block these numbers.  They told me I couldn't.  So much for Frontier to. I used to be able to block numbers with Verizon, before Frontier took over.  I keep my cell phone turned off until I need to use it and I don't have voice mail so they don't bother me on that phone. Should be some way to stop these calls.

We get calls from this number nearly every day .Only today they tried to disguise there number,today they some how left out the area code ( 0-230-1966) it showed up as Unavailable !!,before it showed as Private (650-230-1966) So I guess they really think they are cleaver. We don't answer any calls we do not know where they are coming from.

I receive call from this number several times a day.  No one is one the other end. We have excellent credit. NO collections, Liens etc. They refuse to take us off there so-called list.

Calling serveral times a day - all different hours.....NOTHING said - said hello hello - nothing - that makes me so mad!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THESE PHONE COMPANIES ALLOW THIS TYPE OF ANNOYING PHONE CALLS TO CONTINUE.I GUESS IT IS ALL ABOUT MONEY

I received a call today from this number but didn't get the phone and nobody left a message. After looking the number up on Google and reading about the calls, I blocked the number on my home phone. Just Google the phrase "block a number on" and then type in your phone company's name followed by the word "wireless" or "home phone" and it will take you to simple instructions on how to block a number. Thanks for the help!

Glad I found this site. I have been called several times in the last few weeks by this number. I don't answer and they don't leave a voicemail. I also just received an email from a "friend". The issue is that this friend of mine passed away last year. I didn't open the email, but from the subject line it looked like some kind of foreign sales deal. (The english grammer was improper). Not sure if there is anyone I should notify, but I don't want to open or forward incase that would make matters worse.
