I too have been harrassed by this guy with a heavy accent saying he represents the McKinney's Law Group and they are suing me for default on a loan.  I asked what loan, what amount, with whom, etc. and he couldn't give me details. Unfortunately he repeated my social security # numerous times during the conversation and contacted me at my workplace, which is very disturbing to say the least.  I hung up on him when he started getting rude.  He called me right back!  I told him I was calling the police on him for harrassment and wanted to speak to his superior, he said there was no one else there and not to call the police. I hung up.  I contacted my states' Commission of Banks to report this to see if there was any other fraudulent activity from the "group" and to make sure my accounts were intact, but without more to go on they couldn't help.  They did say it sounded like a scam. When I got home, there was a message on my answering machine from this same guy from "McKinney's Law Group" although you can't understand the message very well because his accent his so thick, you can hear my social security # loud and clear.

I too, got the same message.  What did you end up doing?  I am very upset that my social security # was repeated out loud on the answering machine and worse yet, that they had it!  They have harrassed me at work as well.

I just received the same phone call from a guy from the same law firm and his name was Keith Roderiguez. I asked him several questions and he began yelling at me and telling me I would be arrested. He also told me that the phone call was being recorded. When I asked him to tell me the exact amount of the "loan" I obtained he couldn't tell me. I also asked him to tell me the exact website that I used and he couldn't tell me that either. He kept saying that the mother website was cashadvanceusa.com. So people please be aware the number that called me was 707-501-9176. He also said that their office was located in California.

I have been receving these for nearly 2 years and they are relentless. They are just trying to scare us into giving our social sec# so they can take everything from us and screw us. We got calls saying they WERE from the police. Isn't that impersinating a police officer? I'm not in the law buisness so i wouldn't know, but they give ridiculous names. I asked them whats thier origin and they go Irish. Irish? Really? Why the hell does an Irish person sound so Middle Eastern? I am not racest I have Middle Eastern friends, but these a***oles just need to fly back to their f****ng homeland make room for Americans who need jobs, and do what they do best, work on computers with the smart Chinese people who dont bother us. Also I am on the other side of the great USA, I wouldn't take a loan from CA if i live THOUSANDS of miles away from them and never even lived there. These people are just ridiculous and need to be brought down. I wonder if any lawyers get these calls and I wonder if Californians get them. I dont know if out of state lawyers can do anything. hopefully Arnold can deal with them

I have been receiving calls from these people for over a year. They are calling me now also from a local AZ number but when you call back they say all lines are busy.  The number that called today was 707-574-8531.  They are threatening and saying his name is Mike Rodriquez and the first guys name was Mike Anderson.  This is a scam.  How do I stop the calls?  They call even before the 8am FCC rule.

same thing happened to me. he called me a B***H and told me he wold kill me. He also told me he was going to press charges against ME for harrassment!!??

My husband was getting phone calls from this number. Said his name wad jade walker with a thick accent. I looked it up and saw it was a scam and my husband called him back. He told him he knew it was a scam and the guy hung up on him. After he called him back a second time, the guy actually told him to suck his di**! seriously! This is a supposed law firm telling him to do that. Hopefully he doesn't call back, but it's really creepy bc this guy has his social and just left it on his voicemail. His voicemail only says his number, not his name, so he doesn't even know if that was his phone number.

I keep receiving calls from a guy who refused to give his name but states he's with a Mckinney Law firm out of California. I asked him to spell it and he spelled it several different ways. His accent was thick and he stated that I was a dot on American Society and that I was idiot and he threaten to send police to my home address. I stated go ahead I didn't break any laws and that I was going to contact the police and a lawyer for harassment

I just called these scammers and pretended to be an attorney asking to speak to their employee Mark Hamilton (the name used to harrass people) and told them that my firm was filing charges against him for a payday loan that was defaulted.  The indian guy who answered the phone was dumbfounded and got upset.  We exchanged profanities and he laughed and hung up.  What jerks!  Its so sad that they are able to continue harrassing innocent people without consequences.

I have been receiving the same calls at my work and on my cell phone.  The man sound like he is from the middle east.  He has given me names like Scott Snider at 646-571-3386 and Mat Johnson 281-670-7252 and John Adams at 911 and Jim Blvis, who all sound like the same man saying that I owed 300 and would not charge me a 90 fee.  Told me that I need to call the local sheriff.  I did and they told me that I need to call the State Police, because they had no record of any complaint against me.  Today I received another call from that same voice saying his name was James White at the Mckinneys law firm in California and transferred me to the senior attorney Mark Hamilton.  I started to ask question and told them that I was speaking with the sheriffs department and he humg up.  I called the Mckinney law firm in California and gave them the names and phone numbers I was given.  They told me that they have recieved other calls like mine.

I recently had an encounter with this "law firm." The guy i spoke with was rude and loud, but little did he know that I could be twice as rude and twice as loud as he. He contacted my job, my girlfriend, and my cell phone about an over due balance of 516.00 that i owed to a payday loan company WHICH WASN'T EVEN THE CASE. He told me that i could "settle it out of court if i agreed to pay the full balance and also agreed to write an apologetic letter to the lender stating why i had committed fraud and to promise that i would never do it again." Anytime i asked him specific questions pertaining to the lender in question he just said that the information was confidential. I told him that if he wouldn't provide me with additional information for my so called case I would report him to the Chief of Police in my city who was my Uncle. Wasn't much of a surprise that the line was suddenly disconnected and every attempt that i made to contact the company after that was forwarded to a voice mail.

Wow this idiots called me on my cell AND at work... i only had my cell for a month so im wondering how they got my number... but anyway i'm glad i read this and decided to google them... im going to call them and give them a piece of my mind!!!!!! Im going to act like im an attorney and talk to them. I had this happen to me in the past and i ended up making a payment to the scam artists and because my card compnay could not get in touch with them adn they would not return any phone calls they refunded me back my money!

AND WHEN I DID, I TOLD HIM I COULD HEAR HIM, NOT UNDERSTAND HIM, VERY RUDE. AFTER HIS SPEW OF LEGAL DOCUMENT HE READ TO ME ENTIRELY AND TOLD ME NOT TO INTERUPT AT ANY TIME. HE COMMENCE TO TELLING ME SINCE I WAS A WOMAN, HE COULD CUT ME A DEAL AND PAY PART OF THE AMOUNT OWEDTODAY AND PAY THE REST OUT LATER DATES.I ASKED WHEN THIS LOAN SUPPOSELY WAS TAKEN OUT, HE SAID HE CAN NOT TELL ME THAT INFORMATION, THAT WAS THEIR (EVIDENCE) AGAINST ME, NOT EVEN THE AMOUNT THE LOAN WAS FOR.. HE EVEN FAXED ME PAPERWORK TO SIGN AND FAX BACK TO THEM ALONG WITH PHOTO ID.  THIS HAD ME VERY UPSET,KNOWING HER HAD ALL MY INFO, LOOKED UP EMAIL ADDRESS, DOESNT SHOW ANYWHERE. I just received the same call from 650-452-6236 they had all my information Name, SS and where I work telling me to hold on the line and the will transfer me to their attorney. I asked them what was this about but they would tell me told me they were filling a call at 5pm and was going to contact my supervisor.  I hung up on them after that they call my work number about 20times which I have this number document on my call log. Does any one know how to put a stop to this?

They have another number they are using now. 650-452-6236. says they are Law Group of Mckinney. They said I have charges of Federal bank wire transfer, check fraud and theft by deception. They couldnt tell me what the loan amount was at first. Then they said 500.00, after I told them I never took out a 500.00 loan, he told me not to get smart. I hung up on him, this creep called me back on my work line to thank me for hanging up on him. He's going by Brad now. Heavy middle eastern accent.

Just got a call from the same jerks.  408-329-9253 contacted to atty general of California and spoke with a lovely lady who said they did not exist.  Filled a formal complaint.  these guys were very rude and had heavy accents.  After speaking to atty office, called to guys back.  Told them that I was recording the conversation and that I had just spoke with atty generals office.  Told me they would delete all of my infor and to not worry about any more calls.  They were saying i had a payday loan never had a payday loan in my life.  These guys are scams DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME.  If you have had a payday loan you can contact who you received the loan from directly and see if they have sent your information to someone else if youhaven't paid it back.  Don't let these guys get you .

A client phoned our Law Office asking for assistance in determining who the creditor was on a debt that the Law Group of McKinney was collecting for.  After calling this office he then began to harass this office with multiple numbers which include, 408-329-9253, 810-568-1546, 717-468-5584, 910-468-5584, 928-468-5597.

Just checked my VM and had 3 calls Mr Mike Cooper...I had spoken to "Brian" last week because they call every few minutes...He said I took out a Payday Loan for $300 and I needed to pay it...and yes he said he was from McKinney Law Firm...He said that i need to speak with his Attorney and he passed me over to someone else who said that i took the money and I am trying to steal it...and started swearing at me...I told him he was a jack*** and I did not take a Payday Loan and he hung up...

I am really tired of them calling

You should contact the FBI or visit their office and let them know that you were deceived by scamsters

so they can further assist you. These criminals need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

i believe i was recently scammed by a company called "acc america", they called me several times on 8-29-11 stating that they were attorneys representing a pay-day loan company and that i was being sued for check fraud among other financial "crimes". They had my info such as my cell, address, place of employment, and social. They claimed that i owed the company upwards of 600 dollars, when i did indeed only borrow 300 from a company, and the name of the company sounded like the name in which they gave me, they then agreed to "only charge" me 475 for the "debt" i was pressured to take action immediately or further "legal" action will be taken, including communicating to my employer that i was a potential fraud risk. they "suggested" that i get a gift card to settle the debt, i did, and paid 475, i do have my receipt of the gift card purchase as well as the gift card. i have emails and phone numbers to this company...I am wondering if i have any legal recourse with this considering after further investigation i found out that they have called others with the same "accusations" but i was the only one that actually fell for it.

I have gotten calls from this number stating I am in trouble for getting a loan from them and never paying it back to them. I have not received any loans from these people stating they want my attorney's name and phone number because I owe them 325.25 they are very hard to understand and why would I be getting out of state calls from them if it was done here locally..How do I get them to stop calling me??

got a call today saying i was going to jail if i did'nt pay for some payday loan i took out.the guy was rude and when i asked a qustion he hung up on me the guy had my ss number and new my employer which makes me wonder how many other scams have my info

i received a call from these people.. they said i owed money for a loan that i never got.. he recited my social security number and told me he would call back in 30 min.. when he called back he said there was a legal action.. i went off and the guy told me to go f*** myself..:( its obvious these people already have your information..so beware this is a scam.. i googled the number and thats when i seen these comments....

Today, I had "Mike Davis" call me while I am at work... threatening me with a lawsuit and would not give me any information as to who..why...or even how much??? He then further said that I must comply and follow the entire phone call till the end and must give a legal statement taht can be used against me in court. I then told him that I would not provide ANY information myself and gave him my attourney's contact information...and then he actually said the name of my employer....freaked me out because...I do NOT owe anybody anything. He was very rude and VERY hard to understand... he then said I am sorry for what is going to happen to you....and said that he would see me in court... I said SEE YA THERE... maybe I can get some information there!

When he called me, I asked for an address, and he gave me the court house Address. I called the court house and they told me of the scam. The address he gave me was 600 Union Ave, Fairfield, CA.

If you ever get a call from this number DO NOT answer it or respond to the voicemail messages.     IT  IS  FRAUD, its been known to be blocked or go under different phone numbers but stays in the san fransisco bay area....

they have a very thick middle eastern accent and are persistant in telling you, and, or, your attorney to call them immediatly or  "this situation will unfold on you, good luck"    This has become a nusance and have no idea where they got my number from.
