This man called asking for the wrong person when I told him who I was he insisted I was someone else I told him he had the wrong number & he said no I don't & hung up on me. Strange call middle eastern accent

they called me too asking if I drive a vehicle that I do own but I told them that I didn't no longer have it. and he ask what was I driving and I asked him what is the name of this company and he just hung up. He has a indian accent. I put them on the reject list on my phone so they will not bother me again.

PERSON WHO CALLED USED A NUMBER THAT WHEN i DID A SEARCH ON THE WEB i FOUND THIS NUMBER WAS USED TO HARRASS SEVERAL PEOPLE (SEE BLOG).  APPARENTLY THOSE BLOGGERS SAY THE MAN HAS A HEAVY ACCENT AND REPRESENTS HIMSELF AS FROM gEICO OR AN INSURANCE COMPANY.

Lucky I found this blog before calling back. I was on phone when rec'd number. they didn't leave a msg but I don'[t know anyone in Calif. I am reporting them now to police and online reporting unwanted calls, do the same!!!

insurance scam.  foreign accent male.  asked about getting ins for a vehicle that was totaled  three years ago.  tell them to remove your number and  that you are clashing the BBB  on them!

THIS THE 3RD, TIME TIS WEEK THEY HAVE CALL THIS NUMBDER AND I DON'T ANSWER IT !!!

Same story here.....what should we do when we get such call again. ..?

Called asking about my vehicle and ask me if the address he had on file was correct and I told him no and he ask if I would correct it and I said no! He hung up. I am really tired of getting these types of call. They all have heavy East Indian accent and are either calling about Microsoft error messages or car insurance. I am on the Do Not call list, which obviously does not matter.

Stating they were from my car insurance company offering discounts. I stated I didn't own a car and was abruptly hung up on.

Receiving unsolicted calls from 650-278-4402. They never leave a message.STOP CALLING!!!!!

They are scammers.... But what really pisses me off, he asked if I was insured with Erie Insurance (which was our previous company), and that means Erie sold our personal information to telemarketer companies! Dirty b*****ds should go out of business....

NO idea who called but they left no message when I was gone...  

I have received about 100 calls from this number in the past 4-5 weeks.

Keep getting calls. Ask them not to call back. Keep calling back.

He called yesterday asking for someone. I could barely understand this guy. I told him he had the wrong number and hung up. He called back again today asking for a different person. I have to agree with others that he sounds shadey. Please beware....

The man with a very thick accent said he was with my insurance company and need me to verify information so he offer me discounts. He knew ALOT of personal information. When he stated my previous address I said I didn't live there anymore. He said okay and moved onto the next question. I thought it was very strange. It came to the end of the questions and he asked if someone could call back tomorrow with discounts. I said sure. Then he stated he needed a yes or no answer. Strange. I said no and he tried to push it again. I repeated myself stating I would just call USAA myself and that's when he abruptly hung up on me. I called back asking for the company name and they hung up on me. Definitely a fraud call.

I just got a call from this number and they stated they were from Geico and I would be receiving a big discount. They went on stating my address, DOB and more details about me that I was uncomfortable with. It was a very thick accented man that I could barely understand. I asked him if this was a scam & he insisted no and I told him that he did not sound legit and that I probably should put a fraud alert on my credit. He was no mam you are going to get a discount and then stated my email address and said he only needed one question answered and that was my level of education. This call makes me nervous and makes me think I should put a fraud alert as this guy just knew too much of my personal details. He even knew how long I had been with Geico.

Caller falsely stated they were with my insurance company, i called my company, they have no affiliation, i asked for a supervisor, and was hung up on, could barely understand caller thru their very very thick accent. Very unhappy.
