I got that call, same number 1-650-282-2901: it told me it was my credit card calling me about the purchase of "dirty stinky underwear". There was no credit card specified. It had also suggested that I "press 9" to find out who's pranking me.
It would have been funny if my kids were behind this, but now I see it's some company wasting my time. Probably if I press 9 it moves my phone number to the 'confirmed' list of numbers. Just like with junk mail, don't reply as it only increases the chances of your number or address being sold off to marketing companies.

same as above - 4 minutes worth of voicemail from this number. "key key key - hey what's for dinner? peanut butter and jelly over fried bacon..."
deleting it now. Call logged in my phone at 5:56pm PDT.

I just got the same call from 650-282-2901 at 5:57PM on 5/28/08 with the whole peanut butter and jelly for dinner crap.
650 is actually a San Mateo County area code in California.
This is completely annoying. Any idea for this crap to not happen again?
Extremely disruptive and charges minutes.

I just got a similar call from 650-282-2981 at 2:24pm 05/28/08.  I hung up after a couple of seconds when I realized it was an automated message.  Should I be worried?

I just recieved the same lunch message requesting I press 9 to learn who was "pranking" me.  I didn't follow up but am curious what the scam is.

Some people have too much time on their hands and should die a horrible painful death.  Burn in the hell you have created and lose my phone number.  Buh bye.

Automated message "This is mastercard calling to confirm your purchase of dirty underwear, to repeat, dirty underwear. Do you like my joke, please visit ____(i couldn't make out the website info) and type in code___( couldn't get the code either)" then it hung up. Call seems to have originated from Mountainview CA
