This number was in an e-email promising a rewarding career. Sounds like a scheme.

Thank you for letting me know about this e-mail. I also posted resume on Hotjobs, and got the same response, from the same guy. This saves me from calling.

WOW some research helped and now I know that I should not call this guy I got an e-mail from him too saying to call because he found my resume and he has a job opp. By the way he called the company life path in my e-mail not life plan, so either the name of the company has been changed our the above comments are wrong. My guess is he changed company names.

I called the number and was directed to a live person. I spoke with Jordan Gomez. He was very polite. He stated that this is not a job opportunity but a independent consultant type of thing. I guess like a pyramid skeme.

I called and a very polite but not very polished young lady answered promptly. She was probably exhausted. This was at 8:00am EST if that matters to anyone. The # is San Mateo County CA.I'm not sure how to define scam anymore because it is so over used. I believe they are a legitimate business selling a product but you have to buy from them to start your gig. I don't trust any of these 'Home-Based' or 'Work From Home' businesses. If anyone knows one that is legit please e me pitdoug1998@gmail.com. I'm going back to school full time and working at home some would be perfect.

I got the same kind of email after i posted my resume on Yahoo Hot jobs: Michael Taylor who claimed to be with Life Plan, saying he had read the resume I posted on Yahoo HotJobs. He asked me to call this number 650-352-9236 to discuss a huge earning potential. I ran Life Plan on Google - found several hits, for different things, but nothing with a phone number in the 650 area code.

Same as JB and "theman" and all of you, thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Received an email from Michael Taylor who claimed to be with Life Plan, saying he had read the resume I posted on Yahoo HotJobs. He asked me to call this number 650-352-9236 to discuss a huge earning potential. I ran Life Plan on Google - found several hits, for different things, but nothing with a phone number in the 650 area code. This is obviously an email scam, and I am going to report it to Yahoo HotJobs. If you receive an email like this regarding a resume you've posted on Yahoo or Monster, you need to alert that site of the potential fraud. If enough of us do this, maybe they will do something about it.

Same here. I received this funny email to call this number from Michael Taylor guy soon after I posted my resume on HotJobs. It's unfortunate that Hotjobs can't screen any of ths nonsense after the public has raised awareness in this particular post.

i didn't call but i googled the name and came up with nothing for the company being in california or anywhere near there. i didn't get any kind of information for this telephone number being for the company.

I just got the same email asking me to call that number too (650-352-9236). I got this email after I posted my resume in monster and hotjobs.com. The funny thing is that this email doesn't apply to the type of work that I posted for, neither it had a heading refering about the job that I was looking for. I think it can be an scam? Did anyone called??

So, you think, it is spam, junk?
