Called twice tonight on our incoming fax line

Caller id said "art deco modern". I didn't answer. No message was left.

PBIS calls us every night. I ignore the call. When I have answered, they use very aggressive sales tactics which I don't appreciate. It discredits their charity completely.

Called here this am and asked for my wife buy name, they wanted her to buy 4 tickets for some firemans ball. (But we did not need to go.) I told him mail me something so I could review, he said I will mail you 4 tickets.  I replied I did not want tickets before I reviewed who it was. He hung up. Is this a SCAM?

I am reporting this.  Got called by these guys at least once a day.

Caller ID says PBIS. I have been getting calls daily for 1.5 weeks. I have never answered the phone and they have never left a message. I feel like answering and blowing a loud whistle into their listening ear.

older gentlemen asking for the business owner. asked if i could take a message for him as he was out of town and he snapped on me saying,"I'LL CALL HIM BACK!" i'm still upset.

In San Mateo.  I have been getting calls from this number both in the morning and later in the evening.  TV caller ID says PBIS.  Called Wednesday at 7:19 PM and this morning Saturday 10:17 am.  I did not call them back, but looked them up on the internet and got this website!!  At least something good came out of this

Got a call at 6:31 PM on a Monday evening.  Callerid said "PBIS."  Caller said he was calling from San Mateo Police for some event.  I hung up.

I got a call from "PBIS" at 6:32 pm 2/22/2008 Did not leave a message. So - I called them. Interesting Message. The machine that answered wanted to sell 40 dollar ticket to some event. Call them - it is interesting. The machine also has a place to leave your name and phone number to be "Removed" from their calling list

Said they were the San Mateo Police an they wanted my address to confirm sending tickets for some event. "You do not have to go but we can let the poor children go"

They are now also using "PBIS" as the caller-id also. Sneaky...

they've been doing this for years but the art deco modern name that comes up on the caller i.d. is relatively new.  one year, my caller id showed my own phone# as the one calling,which through me, and i answered the phone.  recently, as i looked at the caller id and ignored the call, after my outgoing message finished playing, there was a male who repeatedly called out my first name.  i have to think again in attempt to trick me into answering the phone.  bruce, in the past it's been for the san mateo police officers widows and children's foundation.

In San Carlos. Calls me in the early evening.  Doesn't leave a message.

It's for the firefighters & the tix for the rodeo.  I asked why ART DECO displays on the C-ID.  He says they had to get more phone lines and that was the prior owner.  Clever.

Why is this still on here? 800 Notes needs improving. I don't like information that is not true being put out on the web. But maybe since I'm older then the beginning of time I need to update my picture and realize there is no honor in this world anymore. If 800 notes had honor they would make sure what is posted on their site is correct first. My cell phone number is not the phone number that's being discussed here.

PBIS has been calling my home and office numbers daily for the past month usually late afternoon or dinner time. Art Deco Modern had been calling using that same phone number. I don't answer the phone any more when I see the number but I have told them in the past to remove my numbers from their lists. I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

This number is now coming through as PBIS.  Once again, they never leave a message, but call several times a day.  Used to get calls from Art Modern Deco, seemed to have switched to this new name now.

Keeps calling over and over.  Don't answer.

I just started to get these calls. I have not answered the phone. When I did a reverse lookup on the number it shows as a land line in redwood city serviced from PacBell. I wonder if we can contact PacBell regarding this situation.

Same experiences as reported by others here. We do not pick up these calls and rather let our answering machine "take" them.

I answered the 8:31 pm call and before I could say "hello" I heard Hello? Hello? HELLO? HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!

so I hung up

Tonight, from same phone number, caller id now says PBIS.  Hadn't received any calls from them lately and had hoped they had gone away.

Me too, live in Belmont/San Mateo county.  I just answered "hello" and no one replied and then it hung up.  I am very annoyed - EVEN IF THEY ARE A NON-PROFIT this group is harassing people -can't we do ANYTHING about it!?

It is serious to falsely accuse someone of this. I will have to get a hold of the service provider and get your full name.

Call always comes with a hang-up on the other line.

Caller ID says DARLENE MISEREZ

Calls and hangs up. Calls everyday. It's a scam. They are collecting phone numbers more than likely.
