A bad connection with a man with a heavy accent.  Said he was with Lexus Nexis and wanted to confirm some information about our company.  Questions included address, phone number, names and titles.  Told him I was busy but he just kept going on and on.  When he wanted to know our sales revenue I hung up on him.

I would like to verify if this was really a business call.

When this number called and had an opprotunity to leave a message, they did not and held the line for 45 seconds and I could hear them in the background on the recording. (Couldn't make anything out) We had no prior business relationship with this phone number at this place of business.

Received call and hangup from this number at 1:15 am (in the morning!)

This number has called for several days now, sometimes in rapid succession, always without saying a word, but never disconnects.  I called the number and the reconding indicates it's been disconnected, but I don't think so.

Called me @ 2:59 AM ..... on 1-18-10.

Called business number and said they were from Billboard magazine and wanted to verify information.  Said his name was Tom Black.  Asked him to remove info and said he would.

Asian lady Voice called to offer us free California Biz Issue.  Wanted the owner and operations magangers names.

A caller named Justin with a very strong accent called to ask if our company is interested in inclusion to a California Telephone Directory. When I said no, the a/h hung up. Charming!

Because of simul-ring feature of Vonage, I received the second call on my cell. When I activated "block caller" on the cell, AT&T gave me an error message, saying it waw not a valid number.

Got a call from this number at 5:30 pm this afternoon - no one spoke. At 5:34 pm there was a second call - no one on line.

Called @ 2:17pm. After three Hello's on my end, a gravelly male voice said, "Uh..." not recognizing the voice, I hung up. Caller called back immediately and I let it go to voice mail. No message left. Then I came here. :-)

Returned call to this number generated 3 tones and the call was terminated. The caller left no message and researching the caller's number led me to this list. The calling number has been reported to the national do not call list.

Rec'd a call from this # this morning.  Said they wanted to verify information for our existing free listing with them.  I asked them for the web address so I could look at our listing.  He said I couldn't view the listing because they were updating it(they all say that).  I told him to give me the web address so I could check out their company and to call me back.  The web address he gave me is www.gale.cengage.com.  This website has absolutely nothing even remotely close to what our business is about.  We'll see if they call back.

Called me at 3:51 AM!!!!  Left no message.  Very irritating.

650-585-1589 saying they were Red Book and wanted to verify client information. We told them we update on line, and goodbye.  When I tried the number, it says it's disconnected!  Redbook doesn't verify information on clients.  We never give anything out period.
