Do the Federal Laws apply to call centers calling from India?  If it doesn't, then the DNC registry would not apply, correct?  Just asking.

I was told to call back for a "high level conversation" and then received an email from Shilpashree B.S <shilpashree.b.s@oracle.com>.

At least the B.S. part of her name is correct.

Wasted telemarketing cold call. Oracle is wasting time doing lead generation randomly. I am not even potentially a customer of their products, I resell services, so not a channel partner either. Poor Indian dude, making a buck through poor practices.

Same here, I got this guy with a fake funny accent - talking as if he understood the whole technology stack of my organization ! Called himself AJ with extension 87192. God help him, if he thinks he is a sales guy who knows what he is talking.

I am VP of an organization.. I am getting calls mostly mornings between 8 and 10 am from this number.. she says she wants to have a strategic discussion...Could hardly understand her name.."suchita" with extension 87697..after reading these blogs i am never going to reply her back..

I got the same call from some "Sulagne" of Oracle hardware. lady didnt have a clue what she was trying to sell. when I told about the rep assigned to my company she started to stammer. I had difficulty understanding her English.

It seems like Oracle is hiring credit card sellers for IT product and services. they are no different from the call center executive when I call AT&T and my call reaches somewhere in India.

At least provide them some communication training!

Her name is Sunaina and not Anna and I got the same call from her offering some IT solutions.

She didnt even speak proper English. Alas! We get sales call from people who dont even know the language and try to sell something in their weird accent.

This was Oracle calling for our VP of Marketing trying to sell Oracle's CRM solution from call center in India.

Got a call from man who sounded Indian.  He left a voice-mail.  He spoke very fast and I could not undertand his name.  He invited me to a Twins vs. Tigers game at Target Field on May 11.  He said to call him on this number (650.633.6646, ext. 87589).  I won't be calling him back after seeing these posts.

Yes, I got a message from an Indian speaking woman, telling me she needs to set up a meeting with me.  Her phone number is the same number posted above.  I won't be calling.

Let the call go to voicemail and this time they left one, I think I was getting a call daily for a month earlier this year, never picked up. The voicemail was identical to all the other comments on this page - don't think I'll call them back

Just received a call from "Anna" which left this number ( 650.633.6646, ext. 87666 ).

I got the same call, March 9, 2011, some Indian woman says her name is Silagna (sp?) and I am to arrange a meeting by calling her at 650-633-6646 ext 84644 right away. She said that I requested the meeting. What a crock of crap.

It never dawned on me that I need to add my work number to the Do Not Call registry, but that's exactly what I did after I googled this number and realized what it was. Shame on you Oracle. Go away and stay the heck away from my phone. You got nothing I want. Next time it's a violation of Federal law.

Also got a message to call this number, will not call back due to the above info.  Caller id info show the call from (978)485-0533 Salem MA.

in the voice mail was mention that "Cindy from Oracle was given my number to discuss our services and to call her back at 650-633-6646 extension 87694"

My name is Bharap Kumar please call me at 650-633-6646 ext 84647. When i called back he told me he was with Oracle. I told him I have a direct relationship with Oracle and then he name dropped my Oracle hardware sales account mananger's name so I requested he spell his name for me. He hung up when I asked him for his phone number.

It is Oracle.  I do business with them, but I don't know Anna.  She is not one of our reps.  This was a pure cold call telemarketing effort where someone from the company does not know I am a customer and will waste my time trying to sell me products that my organization already has.

Oracle - right hand needs to meet left hand.  This is a waste of resources.  Maybe your software and services wouldn't need to be as expensive if you coordinated and managed things a little better.  I will be pointing this out to our reps.

When I called the number is says Oracle Direct trying to sell support services.

Called wanting to talk about my company... no details, no subject, not legit!

Called saying he was chris from Oracle and we're already a client (we're not) and he wants to sign us up for an online workshop.

Indian woman who said her name was Pourvoi left message saying she wanted to give me some updates

Caller Id says 801, left a message from oracle offering some meeting and transportation info for a conference
