Think twice.. Several posts on here have pointed out this person has nothing to do with the calls and no longer owns the number. Its not unusual for the criminals to spoof someones actual CID.. had it happen where the CCS dill weeds used a local number of a person I happen actually to know, and have read many posts where Lawyers have had their names used and abused in like manor!

47 TIMES!!!!! 47 GOD D  A  M   N  TIMES THIS F-ING CALLER HAS CALLED ME! SINCE DECEMBER IT'S BEEN AN INCESSANT FLOW OF CALLS FROM THIS CALLER! I'VE ANSWERED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS ONLY TO GET A "GOODBYE" BY A COMPUTER. I CHECKED AND FOUND THIS (BELONGS OR BELONGED) TO A DEBORAH LANDRESS. WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THIS? I HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. IF MS. LANDRASS IS THE CULPRIT BEHIND THESE CALLS I WILL PRESS CHARGES AGAINST HER.

I have been harassed by this caller for nearly two months. I got called by this number today about an hour ago. I pick up and there's nothing, then a computer generated "goodbye." Some posts on this board say the caller is claiming to be a heating and air conditioning service using a derelict spoofed number; and others think it may be some woman by the mane of Debbie Landrass making these calls. Would I benefit in alerting the police on this caller? It's no doubt harassment. What say you?

My apology to this numbers former owner, by the numer of calls from this "spoofed" number, you have a good case of criminal harassment & seek damages against them. Contact the Santa Clara County Sherrifs Department cyber LEOs. Most likely fines will be enough to pay for filing fee's and getting a lawyer reprensation. But only you can file for damages.

This number has called at 30 times since I opened my U-Verse phone account on Jan 14th 2014. As U-Verse provides a list of phone numbers called & there dates and time. It is not modifiable by its customer. I would imagine it would hold up in a court of law as proof of DNC and harassment. If this message gets back to the phone # user,,,,,,, just letting ya know, Its proof to nail your a**. If you are a U-Verse phone subscriber with caller ID, post it when you comment about further calls from this number. Yes I have blocked this number from ringing through,,,, they still try,,,, 5 times in the span of one minute, this morning.

I have been getting a call from this number every morning for the last several mornings.  There is no one there when I answer and when I dial it back the message says  this number is disconnected.

Anybody can say anything to put themselves in the clear. There are cons encompassing us all. Be SKEPTICAL!

Some people are claiming that the caller behind this front is Deborah Landstrass. I just did a search on Deborah Landstrass and it shows her current address as being in Los Altos, CA. It didn't reveal a home address just the town. It also showed a previous location of hers being in Santa Clara, CA. The only other information on Deborah Landstrass is that she's 57 years old. My very skeptical nature tells me that something is very, very, fishy here. I'm tempted to do a more in depth search that will require a fee just to see if indeed Ms. Landstrass is residing in Los Altos, CA.

This number has been bullying me for weeks. One day I was home in the afternoon and this number calls me. I answered and there's a looooooooooooooooooooooong pause. Finally some woman comes on saying my furnace needed an annual inspection. I told this woman that, "I'll hunt you down and do a full body inspection on you. How'd you like that?" Then I called her a f-ing, fat dumb a   s    s  b      i      t    c    h. I hear a recording of some woman (not her) saying goodbye before I finished my tirade!  

I usually don't answer "foreign" looking phone numbers but this one being a 650 area code and a Los Altos prefix of 948 I thought was legit. I pick up and say, "Hello." I hear what sounds like breathing and I say, "Hello, hello, hello." Some guy comes on the line saying to me, " Mr._______ ,(he had my first and last name which bothered me) according to our records your furnace is in need of a safety inspection." I asked the guy the name of his company and he adamantly side steps my question saying, "Your family may be at risk for faulty furnace operation and carbon monoxide poisoning." I said again, "Sir, what company are you with?" He says, "We're independent contractors." I told this guy that, "A year and a half ago I had a brand new central heating and A/C system installed." A then get a loud CLICK and an automated lady's voice saying, "Goodbye."  

Thanks for the tip on blocking via Comcast!  We didn't know we had that capability until we saw your post.  We blocked this number and will begin to capture others to block as well.

These people called my elderly folks to set up a duct cleaning date on this coming Monday.  They said they were the ones who put their furnace in and have been in their home before.  My folks did have a new furnace last spring so they felt it was legit.  I don't know what their plans are when they get to my folks but they will have a surprise waiting on them...This is a scam and look out as they are sure trying to target people to get inside their home!!!!!  I have called this so called number and it said it has been disconnected and no longer in use.....

This number has been calling me since November. I was able to speak with a woman last December (she sounded like a lush) who claimed that my furnace was "serviced by them two years ago." I informed her that she was wrong, and she hung up on me. I've answered other times only to hear what sounds like breathing and then an automated "goodbye." I understand that this scammer is using a former Los Altos telephone number. How much longer is this thug going to keep jangling our nerves with his/her incessant calling two, three and sometimes four times a day?! This is harassment. I feel motivated to let the police know about this caller. It's been going on way too long.

Hi, Same thing as everyone else is reporting..Keeps calling twice a day at least..listens to you say hello, automated voice says goodbye and hangs up.

How can we stop this harassment?  They keep calling and hanging up.

I've blocked this number but can see on my Comcast Missed Calls list that it calls here MANY times each day. Caller ID says Landstrass, D., same as other people have said. Thank goodness it never rings through!

Called at 10:56 am.  I did not answer, they did not leave a message.  Our number is blocked.

This number calls me often. I grabbed the phone this afternoon and I say, "Hello, hello, hello?" Nothing. I say hello again and some lady begins telling me that my furnace is due for servicing. I told her to go eat sh**!

I got a call today and the guy said i had my heater serviced and they have a holiday special for $49. I got an appointment, he knew my name. I guess they are not going to show and this is some scam. What is the point of this scam ? What are they fishing for ?

They always called in the morning, but never leave a message.

I've been getting calls from this number for a couple weeks. I usually got a lot of phone calls from nonprofit organization during holiday. I suspect it is one of  them, e.g. cancer society, leukemia, etc..

I called this number about ten minutes after they called, and got a message that it was a disconnected number.  There have been a half dozens from this number in the last couple weeks.  Must be a scam

Some scammer who found a no longer in service number with a name associated with it and decided to use some form of Caller ID Spoofing to display this number so as to hide who they are so you cannot find them to serve legal papers on them.

I keep a list of irritating unwanted phone calls.  This number has called me three times in the past three weeks.   I called the number back today and received a message that this number has been disconnected and is no longer in service.   If it is disconnected and no longer in service, then who is using it?????????
