My phone receives calls from this number six to eight times a day, including Saturdays and Sundays.  When answered, the caller hangs up.

These calls are from Strategic Telecom, a marketing firm that handles telemarketing for political committees and non-profit organizations.  (I learned this by googling the name on my caller ID).  If you call the number back, there will be a recorded message which prompts you to add your number to their do-not-call list.

I have been receiving calls from this number also and so I called it back... I got an answering machine with a woman's voice...sounds like a residence....definitely not a telemarketing company...

I didn't answer the call.  I'm thankful for all of the people who have commented.  We don't answer calls from "Out of Area".

Worked for me.  Called back, got alutomatic option to be removed. Now to wait 48 hours and see if it happens.

I get the same phone calls - shows up on caller id as Strategic Telec (as much as my phone is capable of displaying), and if I try to answer no one is there.

The name of the company is Strategic Fundraising, and as another poster said, they are exempt from the Do Not Call Registry (which I am also on).

Call and hang-up every couple of days.

They call all the time and never leave a message......it's such a waste of time. My phone is almost always on silent so I never get the call (thank God) but it's just annoying to constantly see their missed calls in my history.

If whoever is calling from this number can't leave a message on the answering machine, I have no intention of answering when they call!  I'm fed up!!!

9:53am 2-13-08 received call from 651-209-3272.  When I answered, no response-just silence then the "click" of the hang up.  Very VERY annoying.

I am tired of all calls that are made to my home phone that solicit's donations.  I look at my caller id and if I don't recognize the numer I don't answer.  When ever I receive a call like this and don't answer it I never get a message left on my voice mail.  So please don't callme any more.  Other wise I will start calling this number back and hang up on you.
