I've got an unpaid bill of $204 (planning on taking care of it soon). I've gotten letters from these guys asking for $568, and just got a call from him asking for the same amount. This has happened to me before, where they ask for way more than what you actually owe.

I'm going to try to report these guys to the BBB or something, and I recommend that everyone else do the same.

He called on Feb. 11th and left a message for me to return his call. Upon doing so he was very rude and indicated that I owe this debt and better pay in full today. I haven't any knowledge of such debt and wasn't treated respectfully when asked to obtain proof.

Called my work and asked me to pay past due bill. I cannot take calls at work, but he could call me after 5.  he was very rude. Said he didnt care and if I had taken care of it he wouldnt have to call me. Said he'd put me down ad refusing to pay. I never said that, but whatever.

This is a Collections Company called American Accounts & Advisors.

A man named Chris calls everyday around the same time.
They are seriously sketchy and will not say what company they are from or what they do. He will only say that he is calling about a "personal business matter".

Calling the number back, the man "Chris" slips up with the company name. I found their website and below is a link to their staff page with phone numbers, if you so wish to contact them.

Tried calling the company several times to ask the nature of their business and they would not comply. They cut me off by transferring me to a line that just keeps ringing.  They, also, threatened to call the cops on me for asking questions about who they are, which should be standard phone etiquette and makes them come off as a rather unreliable, non-trustworthy company.

If anyone does owe them money, I would feel very unsure of paying the bills because of how skeezy and secretive they are about their company. I, personally, would try and find a way to have bills switched to another collection company.

He texted my cell phone just saying CALL ME. My number is on the DNCL and I do not put on any website or when I apply anywhere.  I use my Google#.  Only family & close friends have my cell#. Like a message like that would have me call a number I do not know.  He also called my work number which is not listed on anything. When he called my work, he did not leave a message and I did not pick it up. This happened on 4/30/2013. Have not heard anything today.

I get non-stop calls on my home number and my private *unlisted* number.  It is American Accounts and Advisors Collections.  The guys is Chris.  I used to work for collections and if you write to them to not contact you by phone they are legal obligated to no longer call - this guy does!!!!

I have asked to speak to a supervisor to proceed with the next step, and I am continually hung up on. No further Address information was ever handed out, nor when asked is his company name given, Again hung up on. How can one proceed if information is withheld? The caller ID says AA and A, but that could be anywhere.

Just got a call from "Chris" today at work. I said "Kelly wasn't working today" and took a message. His name is Chris Robin.

just got a voicemail from this number."My name, this is Chris, call me back"  I do not know this number or person.  This is not on the level.

"Chris" called me tonight.  He poses as your friend at first.  He works for a collection attorney.   If you have a bill that is in collections,  that's why he is calling.P3

This guy called me tonight but left no message.  I called him back but got voicemail.  It said his name is Chris.

Just called my phone. I went to answer it and it hung up.

Same deal, "hey, this is Chris, give me a call back at 651 287 6127", and it was on my work cell !!!!
No one gets that number, how the hell did "Chris" get it?

Called on 5/9/2011 said he was trying to get ahold of my son. When asked what it was about he said hit was about some insurance

Someone just called me said his name was chris askeing for me i said i wasnt their cause it sounded suspicious and he said "well allen (me) knows why im calling" i have no idea who this guy is help me?

The same happened to me today around 5:30 p.m. central time, He said he was fromk my bank and that I had an overdue account, that I don't have endiong in a number thats completely made up, he also said his name was Chris.

Called my work number and wouldn't identify where he was from and said he had a file on my son. Said his name was Chris.
