they charged 11.49 to my credit card. i had the cc company cancel it - it's a fraud. no answer when you call the number back. "septer management co MN"

I feel a little relief in hearing from you all.--- I called 651-323-7417 and talked with a j*** off who claimed his name is Jim Lennon (?). I proceeded to bi*** at him for having no answer to any of my questions. He said "sorry, I'm working on it" ---yes--sorry---he doesn't know how it happened.------Then he starts to get mad at me and all of "us" who are calling and giving him a hard time for trying to fix the situation. ---Of course he hasn't gone to authorities or anything like that. ----The conversation got intense and I called him a F ing loser j*** off who's gonna get his.----QUESTION---- I told the credit card company that it was them who gave me the number, and they really haven't proceeded with this pertinent info you know. WTF? I talked to the a***ole and no one gives a s***. Anyone?----------Pissed

We had almost the identical situation.
There was a charge on our credit card from 01/18/09 for $11.89
We we called the number to investigate it was a verizon # and they couldn't locate the customer.
We eventually called the credit card company and they told us that it was a company that sells anti-virus software.

I just found a charge on my latest statement for $11.89 and form the same caller ID 651-323-7417, Septer Management Co, MN. I called the number and ended up with a Verizon Wireless phone menue.

I had the same thing happen to me that happened to Mark but my charge was $11.89
This is why we need to check our credit card statements!

this company and phone # appeared on a credit card statement of mine, for $11.49. i'd never made any such transaction, so i called their phone # and it rings three times and then disconnects. apparently a fraud, which i've reported to my bank and had them cancel payment. BEWARE
