This is the second time I received vm from a restricted number from Louise referring to his manager Steve who has seen my online resume. After seeing rest of the postings, I dont have any intention on returning their call. They never said what company or even their full name.

Caller identified himself as Jeff Lafever. Said he was calling in reference to online resume posting. Supposed to call back if still interested in a full or part time job. Said to call 651-379-1798 but called from 651-501-2068.

I have a question how so is primerica a MLM company?
Chance 2011-06-06 20:53:50 Unknown
A person named "Paul" from a Finance & Asset Management Company looking to expand called and left me a message. Said if I was keeping my career options open to give him a call back. Sounds like something Primamerica does. They are not willing to tell you what company they work for. Kind of scary when you call, and can't tell you you work for since you know you will never get called back if you tell them!

It is a collection agency scam. They cross reference the people they are trying to collect from with sites like Career Builder. It often supplies them with better contact info than what they have.
Call back, and surprise!
You would think that something like this would be illegal. If you are posted on a job site, odds are you are unemployed. Probably in debt already, and late on bills. Scum!

I received a call from Harry (or something like that) of Asset Management in Twin Cities. He said that he found my resume online and stated that if I would like to switch industries, to call him at 651-379-1798

I don't get it! They prey on those of us needing a good job with insurance sales? This is the only response I've gotten off my resume. Not good! I don't trust anyone that doesn't leave the name of their company and calls with a restricted number. Thay're hiding something.

I got a vm a few days ago from a "Rhonda Rinehart", i replied in desperation for a job, got a vm saying "this is the vm of steve splits...." i left a message. Today a guy called me said their business is expanding and they need sales reps and managers for new locations and wanted me to go have an interview tonight at 730 then he gave me the address and its in a suite (not saying that all places in suites are bad i just don't trust them as much) this turned me off if they are an expanding business why don't they own their own building? Anyway he told me i should bring a notebook and pencil to write notes and anything i missed in this meeting he would go over. I was debating going so i looked it up to see if there was information and i found little so i typed in the guys name and this came up along with a few other sites. I don't plan on going anymore.

Got a call from a "Todd", also said he found my resume online... they've called before (more than once) and are quite annoying- I've never returned their calls as I'm pretty sure they're worthless

I received a call from Nick. He said that he found my resume online and stated that if I would like to switch industries, to call him at 651-379-1798

Caller identified herself as "Rhonda Rinehart", calling re. my online resume posting on CareerBuilder.com. I'm supposed to call back if I'm "keeping my career options open."
Number showed up on my cellphone caller ID as "Restricted," but she left the 651-379-1798 return call number. When I called back, I got a VM message that stated I had reached the VM for "Steve Splits" (or something like that). I didn't leave a message.

Called on 5/19 and left a message. Caller said name was Paul, and that he was from a Finance & Asset Management Company looking to expand.

Same deal here. Dude said his name was Billy. This is the third time I've been called by these scumbags, each time with a different name provided.

Caller identified himself as Aaron. Said he is calling for my online resume posted, I have to call back 651-379-1798. I called the number and there's no answer but a voicemail say the company is TDF and Associates, I think it's not for real.

I called the number and there's no answer but a voicemail says the company is TDF and Associates. If it were a real of any sort of merit, should have some sort of website, but nope nothing.

Got a call from Louis for Steve for a position. No name of business given. Primerica probably. Listed for a St. Paul address. I am not calling back. I hate them giving me hope then finding out they are trying to recruit me for something. The no business given is a dead giveaway.
Mark 2008-10-03 14:07:15 Unknown
I got the same called on the same number. They cannot receive calls whenever you call back. They setup interview and gave directions but couldn't get them to verify the directions. I called several times all I got was voice message of one Steve Split and another name that I cannot readily grab. I'm not sure if this is a real business... any idea?????

Ya I got a call from Nick LaCost or whatever today also. Call came up "Restricted" he left NO information on the name of his company or what sort of position they were looking to fill.. seemed fishy, so I just googled the number and I am glad I found this site!! Otherwise, I'd probably have called back and been nothing but disappointed...

Same loser named Nick called my phone today at 11am. and left the same message wondering if i would like to change my career path and if so to call back. also came up as an unknown number. losers.
tmhelvie 2008-07-08 23:13:20 Unknown
I got a call from the Nick LaCoste guy too. I was actually quite happy when I got a call back but was worried since the number came up as "unknown" on my phone when he called. I'm glad I decided to do a little research. It is disappointing, however, to find out that it's just a scam.
Catie 2008-07-07 23:57:23 Unknown
I received a call for my husband, from a guy named Nick LaCoste(not sure on the spelling) asking if his career options were open, blah blah blah. This is really disappointing because my husband is need of a great job to start his career, and to get phone calls about non-legit jobs is just depressing. I'm glad this site exists.

I got the same call, and I immediately said, I am not interested in sales. He seems to be angry and says, "who told you we are doing sales? Did heard I said management? " Are you kidding me?
Mark 2008-06-26 14:54:14 Unknown
Just got a call from this number by Nick. Same intros as listed above. This is the 3rd time Primerica has contacted me in the last year. Not sure if from same #.
