This is a scam. This woman called me stating I owed a debt to a credit card company for which I've never had a card. Very abusive! I called BBB in Minneapolis and they have no record of this so called debt collection agency

Judy Lenz calls from 651-621-2812, she says she is looking for certain individuals. She also calls the neighbors trying to get information from them and information about the individual she says she is calling about. Information, such as work, family, friends, etc. Then, she encourages the neighbors to contact the individual on her behalf. It sounds like identity theft or fraud either towards the neighbor or the individual.
Be on the lookout.
For your own security and everyone elses do not give out any information to a stranger about yourself or your neighbors.

My neighbour came to me this morning and told me that he had received a call from "Judy" inquiring about me. I asked what it was about and he said he didn't know, only that "Judy" wanted him to contact me to tell me to contact "Judy". He gave me this number.
So I called it and got through to a voicemail. Seeing as she is calling my neighbours about me, I was determined to get through to her directly. Eventually, I did and asked Judy (I assume it was her) what business she wanted to discuss with me. She asked me if I knew "Peter Harley". Name doesn't ring a bell so I said I did not know him. She started to ask me lots of personal questions, such as my address, date of birth, names of family members etc. These are not questions which I am comfortable answering to a stranger, so I asked her to stop calling me and my neighbours about me if her business does not concern me. It doesn't make any sense - why call my neighbour to ask about me, when it is not me she wants to talk to?!
She got very rude and insisted that I was lying about not knowing Peter Harley and that things would get very nasty if I continued to lie to her. I don't like threats so I told her that I would be going to the police. She laughed, said (and I quote) "Just make sure you lock your doors at night" and hung up. It got me worried, but this is outrageous activity that is definitely criminal.
I don't know if it was actually Judy I was speaking to, but whoever it was, is definitely committing a crime by harassing me and threatening me. I will contact the police.

I received a call from this place looking for someone else with the same last name. I told them there was no one by that name here, she then gave me the first and last names of the couple for whom she was looking...as well as the city and state in which they supposedly lived!! She then tried to tell me they had me listed as a family member.

It's a collection agency called Frontline Asset Strategies. They started calling me about a month back about an old Citibank credit card. The card was in my name and my ex husband racked up about $10k in debt on the thing. I couldn't prove it in divorce court and got stuck with it. Now with all the late fees, overlimit fees, etc it's up to over $17k. The lady who kept calling frmo this # is named Judy and she left me message after message (sometimes twice a day), claiming to have called my "father" (actually my ex father in law) and my (former) place of employment, among other people. I never answered the calls, but I figured I have no choice but to eventually pay. So A couple weeks ago I sent in a $5 money order and that stopped the calls. I plan on sending in $5 every month until it's either paid or I'm dead, whatever comes first :) I have no intention of starving my family over some stupid debt of my ex's that I got stuck with! :P
