Also received a call from the BC/BS Call Center.  They left no message and ask for a direct extension.  It just reflects on how pathetically BC/BS of Minnesota is run.

I've received 3 calls from this number in the past 2 days.  They don't leave a message.  I called back and there was a voice message stating that I reached "an unassigned phone number in Health Plan service center" and I "need to enter an extension".

I received a call from this number several times within an hour time span. Wasnt sure who could have been calling until they called back. I work for a company that collects health insurance data and the call was from BCBS Minnesota. The number that appears is not the number the person called from.

I received a call from this number, asked me if I was "Kelly" and when I said she said she must have gotten the wrong number (uh, obviously!), and we said goodbye.  No scary beeps or BCBS Minnesota people as far as I know.

Had a voice mail on my work phone from BCBS (they had called from a different number).  Called them back this morning and they said they had some Health Program they were offering through my employer.   Told them I wasn't interested and they said they would make a note that I didn't want to be contacted with those type of calls anymore.  Just got back from lunch and the caller ID on my work phone has this number listed but they left me no message.  What part of don't call me anymore don't you people understand????

If I were the one paying for 651 662 8006 I would want to know why it is calling interstate and early in the morning.....

Just got a call from this number saying they wer from BCBS.  Wanted our other medical insurance information, numbers, etc.  Wouldn't give it to them, not a secure way to pass information along.

I received a call from this number recently too.  It was BCBS.  I had filled out a form they had sent me 2-3 months ago about others in my household having other insurance besides BCBS.  So she was calling to get updated information.

A woman called with this number showing-up on caller ID asking for an elderly person's medical ID information, & then when it wasn't given to her the woman attempted to obtain the elderly person's Social Security information.
As anyone with half-a-brain will advise, it's relatively easy to tap into a phone line & use it for whatever purposes one has in mind.  It seems pretty evident that whomever is using this number is attempting to gain vulnerable individual's personal information, to use for who-knows what ends.
I would not give out any information to anyone who calls from this number.  No one from Blue Cross/Blue Shield would ask you for your Social Security information over the phone.
Beware anyone calling when this number shows up on your caller ID.

This number is absolutely Blue Cross of MN. My wife has worked there for 9 years. Whenever she calls home this is the number displayed. It is also the number displayed when any of her co-workers call here.

I too received a goofy call from 651-662-8006. I got the run around and called 651-662-8000 and got Blue Cross of Minnesota. Seems the call was liggitamit and I complained about their calling methods. However I believe someone at Blue Cross is using their phones for illegal purposes.

This number shows up on ALL calls (business or personal) made from any employee at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, located in Eagan.  Its not a fake or fraud its just the number that shows up on caller ID.

I got a call from this number. A woman call her self something like jane, and had bits and pices of my family personal info. Was trying to get SS numbers of my family presenting herself as a Health insurance person.

I was home and recieved a call from this number. Woman stated my number was on caller ID and she was looking for a computer repair person that had called from my munber. Not!
Woman left message and said she was Dana. Left this return number 651-470-7792.
Nothing makes sense here.

I am a recruiter. I got a call from this number stating that she is looking for work but when I call back no answer nas says i need to put extension in. So I think it's some bogus firm trying to get info about jobs from me.
