I answered the call and they wanted a donation for the fire department in st.louis park.  the call came from northbranch, mn.  I support our local fire department.  STOP THESE CALLS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got robo-call 651-674-3524 on Tues. 02-05-13 @ 522 PM. The phone rang 3 times and did not even have enough time to get to phone and no one there when I answered. = Dirty Rotten d1ck$.
Called the number back and they have an 'Automated Attendant' answering machine that says "This is the Community Welfare Services.....if our number appears on your caller ID - it means we R running a fund raising program in your neighborhood".  It seems like they call me every other month ( see previous remarks herein).

If Community Welfare Services is a 'charity?' (and NOT a SCAM) then they are the type of charity that uses 98% of its receipts for administrative expenses.

Bruce Clark is apparently the owner of this company = Community Welfare Services Inc. filed as a Foreign for Profit Corporation on Wednesday, March 07, 2007 in the state of Minnesota.

2/2/13  9A - rings then air space dial tone and then hangs up.  Calls from this number began on my phone on Sept 10, 2011.  In 2012 calls from this number 8/29, 9/24, 12/15 late evenings or Noon.  In 2013 so far they have called on 1/21 at 6:30PM and 2/2 at 9AM.  Why do they waste their time calling numbers that do not answer?  I never pick up unknown callers.  If they were legit they would leave a message.

Do Not Call list has stopped 99% of the calls I had in the past.  Impossible to STOP all of the calls since they use fake numbers and change them often.  I subscribe to caller ID and NEVER answer unknown callers or phone numbers.

1/21/2013 @ 6:30PM Rang three times and hung up.  Typical random robo phone call.  No way to stop as they use a new number and call me nearly daily.  What a joke.

Keep getting calls, saying that the wifes life insurance policy is expiring and he was with that firm. I told the male caller she only deals with HR at her work with these matters, then he said it was her work. What a f...ing prick. I hate scammers. We need the gov to stop wasting money on themselves and focus on these problems. Been on the socalled do not call list for years but it has never worked.....another political joke.

got robo-call 651-674-3524 on Wed. 12-05-12 @549 PM. There was dead air when I said hello then a young man said Hello and that he was from 'AMVETS'. I asked him what is that? He said it is American Veterans.
I asked the caller where is he calling from and he again said "AMVETS". I said "NO - WHERE R U calling from?" He said he was calling from Chicago. I said "OK then U R spoofing your phone". The guy said "what is that?". I said U do not know what spoofing a phone number is? He was flustered and asked if I wanted to talk to someone else? I said "Yes I did" Another guy came on the line and I told him "U take me OFF your List". He started to respond and I said " like IMMEDIATELY" and hung up on the twerp.
This Number must be used by a Chicago telemarketing firm since they called me earlier (above) saying they were a different caller. They are spoofing their incoming number on caller ID so U will think it is a local call.

I have created a contact on my phone called Spam.  So when they call I can see it's them and ignore it.

Community Welfare Society / Fraternal Order of Police calling get me to make a pledge. I didn't make a pledge and asked them to take me off the list.

You would think the real fraternal order of police would make them stop using their name.

I got a called from this number too... They were asking me for donation.. And I said mail me the package .. you know like letter.. with returnable address so I can donate... It's for veterans ,..

Received this call, rang twice and they hung up.

weekly random calls, random unknown numbers, random time of the day.  Robo calling - do not follow directions they might offer - they have no intention to remove your number.  I am thankful for caller ID.

Every time I get one of these unsolicited calls from a man I ask him if his moms ***** smells like fish.  If it's a woman, I ask her if her ***** smells like fish.  they hang up and never call again.  One lady said "there's no reason to be nasty and rude".  I told her there's no reason to call random people and annoy them and they should expect random and spur of the moment responses when they are caught off guard.

called on Friday evening 8/10/12 and caller had my name and botched the pronunciation and said he was from the "Community Welfare Fund" calling for the "Fire Fighters Assn."  The were taking donations......Got out the "SCAMMER HORN" and gave him 10 blasts with it and then listened to see if he was on (and he was) . So asked "Can U here me now". Didnt wait for an answer and continued to blow on it for another solid minute. Went back to listen and he was GONE.

Similar to others, a "test" call with no one in the other end.

I too have received numerous calls from this 651-674-3524 with listing unavailable.
No message was left.  And I refuse to call any number back that doesn't have
the courtesy to leave a message and not a prerecorded message.

Why can't they disconnect BEFORE the voice mail starts recording?  Really annoying to see the vm light blinking, but it's one of these nuisance callers that leave a second or two of dead air on the vm before hanging up.  It's rude and a waste of my time.

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. Shows up as "unknown name" on my caller ID.  Call is local to where I live. I do not know anyone with this phone number. No voice mail left.

I've gotten three calls from this number and after a long moment of silence, I hang up. They also call and don't leave a message so I've used "star 69".....Something weird is that when I try to dial that number, it doesn't ring or connect to anything......

We have gotten calls from this number as well, and the person hangs up when you pick up.
