8pm rings until answering machine picks up then hangs up so that i hear a loud dial tone as a message VERY ANNOYING WON't LEAVE MESSAGE

It's the Lupus Foundation that called. They are very annoying and call a lot.

Its just very annoying. It happens a few times a week. How the hell do I stop this crap?. They call at all hours and all days including weekends. Very annoying! ... They Keep calling me, no voicemail.

If you are registered on the Do Not Call list, let them know and tell them if they continue to call you they will be reported - it worked for me.

lupus foundation is a "non profit organization" and therefore the "do not call list" does not apply to them

"national do not call list" dont apply to charities so dont bother saying "im on the national do not call list....blah...blah....blah" if you want to be removed ask nicely like how you would ask a favor and maybe they'll write down your number

Lupus Foundation called me constantly at my old home phone number and now at at my new one.  This after being repeatedly notified to remove my phone numbers (both) from their call list.

This has happened so frequently that I am now investigating bringing charges against them for harassment.  I found this page as I begin looking into stopping them.

Calls daily or multiple times a day. Even if asked to stop. I am on the Do Not Call list, but it doesn't stop charities. Call rejection does not work with the number.

Lupus Foundation keeps calling multiple times a day even after requests for them to stop calling. I am also on the "Do Not Call" list but this is being ingnored by Lupus.

Calls several times a day for a time period of a week or two.Than there will be a lull of a week or two and it starts back up.I have told them to take me off thier list and the calls still continue.

Calls daily, numerous times. I have asked to be taken off their list and get hung up on with no reply every time.
