I have received many calls with the same initial automatic offer to reduce my credit card interest. They make it sound as if they are from one of our current credit card issuers. I usually respond to get a live operator who identifies him/herself as Card Services. I always ask them which of my credit card issuers he is calling from. When it becomes apparent that this is a general sales call and not from one of my financial institutions, I ask them to please remove my telephone number from their call list. They never answer but simply hang up on me. It is VERY annoying.

"Sarah" from card services wanting to reduce credit card rate. This was an automated call just like all of the other numbers they use to call with. Scam.
