This is getting to be a real problem. I get at least 1 call a week on my cell and home phone. They need to be held accountable someway.

Just another bunch of idiots with an autodialer. Autodialers are illegal in this country.  We do have a do not call list but that is not enforced. Thats why i keep an extra smoke alarm near the phone. Oops.
Works for obscene callers too. I got that tip from the police. What are these morons gonna do? Report me and admit they were making harrassing calls? Ha ha not likely. Workers comp will have a giggle when the hearing injury is explained

Everyone on this board needs to file a complaint on this number here: www.ic3.gov/default.aspx.  This is not a telemarketer, it is a scam.  The pre-recorded message is a message the company itself has recorded so you feel the matter 'has been taken care of'.  Quite clever.  Then report the number on www.donotcall.gov as well.  That's the only way all of you can start the process of having them truly investigated/fined/found/etc.  The reason they are rude and keep hanging up is because they are not a legitimate business and know that no one will take the time to do all of these things.

They called me today and I pressed "1", when they answered, I put on my best redneck accent and asked them how I could lower my credit card rates. They asked me for my card number, I told them "BR-549",, they said that wasn't a valid number,, I told them "Neither is yours" and hung up on them. May as well have some fun at their expense.

Maybe I will call the attorney general's office - I keep getting calls from this number and I have actually answered and pressed '3' to be removed from their list.  Would block the call but I have already used up my 20 blocked call limit GRRR.

Just called the number back from a land line and there is a recording that says "Do not answer calls from this number, it is a scam to get credit card information, do not give out your credit card information to calls from this number."  Glad I didn't answer...

Telephone tip: Telemarketers don't call again when they get a blast from my air horn right into the receiver. Companies that invade my privacy and act like they have a right to do so get no quarter from me.

The # that called me was 657-269-7794 and the guy was VERY rude and was rushing me. When I tried to ask to speak to the manager he said "I am" and then said "I am counting 100 dollar bills" and I said "I don't care what you are doing why would I care about that?" He said cause what I'm trying to say is I'm busy. I said I don't care and it is obvious that you don't want my business(trust me people I was not giving it to him, just said that to see what he would say). And while I was talking he was counting 100, 200, 2,000, 3,000. What a jerk!!!!!!!  He said "I don't care, I have so much money right now your change doesn't even matter" That is one time in my life that I wish I could have turned into superman. >:/

They keep calling--almost everyday!  They probably should be THROWN INTO JAIL!

Call filtering on smart phones block specific calls.  When I get an unknown call, I Google it.  When I get a page like this one, I add that number to the Blacklist in the Call blocker app, and they never connect to my phone again.

Called my home phone this morning. Recording said to press 1 to lower my interest rate. When I pressed 1, the lady came on the line & said "Card Services." I asked her why they were calling me & she hung up.

got a call from this number today. didn't answer it. called it back and got a recording stating  -- do not accept any calls from this number. it has been identified as a scam to get credit card and personal information (man's voice). then woman's voice. this phone number cannot accept any calls t this time.

i also on a ntl DNC list and agree with Bothered. The list isn;t worth a "tinker's damn"!

Don't waste your time calling our Senators. I've sent two e-mails  to Sen. Cardin over the past few months with just a simple question in each and to this day I have never received a reply. I'm sure the questions were not to his liking! This is representation??? As far as the calls go I don't believe there is any solution to them except ignore them. I'm even starting to get them on my cell phone. I called Verizon and they told me they didn't block calls anymore. What gives here? I hate recorded messages. At least with a live person you can scream at them and get rid of some of your frustration. Certainly these people can find some other form of employment beside harassing folks.

They keep calling!  Today I connected with someone, and when I told him I didn't have any credit cards, he hung up on me before I could ask to be removed from the list!  I WISH there was some kind of legal action to take against these jerks.......

Called 10-19-2011 @ 14:34, answered the call and pressed 1 to speak with a representative.  She promptly hung up on me when I asked if she could remove my number from their database.  Wasted some her time, I guess...

I keep getting calls from this number.  Usually they say, "this is your 2nd. and final notice."  Is that the end of the calls?  Noooooo!  I get another one in the next few days.   And when I stay on the line to tell them to take my name off their calling list, they hang up on me.

this is about the tenth call over a few week period that I have gotten the same call from.  Can someone please do something about these calls.  I am on a do not call list.   If you say something to these people they just hangup on you.  they should be fined or something.

Just called this number back and it has been shut down and a recorded message said it was a scam and has been identified for credit card fraud.

These people won't stop calling.  Half the time, there is just silence on the other end of the line, the other half of the time there is a threatening-sounding recording that makes it sound as though we are behind on a bill, but is just trying to 'help' us lower our interest rate.  My mom is elderly with dementia and thinks she is in trouble when she happens to get to the phone before I do, and then is very upset afterwards.  The phone companies need to get on the ball with this crap.  These calls are the equivalent of spam in an inbox - why not develop an 'anti-spam' bank of phone numbers that are automatically blocked from calling their customers?  Please, please, please.  These people and others like them are driving our household insane!

Robocaller- some BS about lowering my rates on credit cards. Did not hear it as I hung up. If they call back- the next call will be to the FTC.

Caller ID shows this to be a "Wireless Caller", but this is the bunch that calls repeatedly concerning "your credit card and it's interest rate".  I don't do business with these people and have never invited them to call me, which I see as a violation of the terms as I understood them when I put my name and number on the do not call roster.  What good is the roster if no one seems to pay any attention to it?  Hey, enforcers, put up or shut up.
