This is an absolute scam! I don't even HAVE an smiOne card... For one thing, it begins by saying that 'due to recent fradulent activity... blah, blah, blah... in order to protect our cardholders, we now have a system in place for you to verify your identity..." Ok, any LEGITIMATE card service would have already had that in place, regardless of fraudulent activity..... Then it goes on to ask you (The FIRST thing they ask for) is your social security number. Really? No last 6 digits, no date of birth, not even a name (and generally, when dealing with a cardholder service of ANY kind, your name is the FIRST thing they ask!!!) PLEASE don't give out your personal information to ANYONE that you do not know! And even then, be wary....

The smiONE CARD is used by the STATE of MISSOURI. They will not text you to call a phone number in Sedalia. I got the same message and you can Google smiCard for more info. Since it is a state card, they will likely try and get personal info.
