I've received the same type of call from Charles McDaniel from Neil Watson Law firm.  He's also calling me from 818-638-7268 and leaving threating messages for me on my cell phone, home phone and at my work place.  I have also received a call from Chris Jones and his number is 213-289-3737.  Both of these numbers are based in the California region.   I have contacted the FTC to report them and I have blocked these numbers but they keep calling.  I would caution anyone not to verify any information from them and always ask for them to fax you the courthouse docket number/case number.

i have been contacted by these people on my cell and work phone. these people wouldn't leave the name of thier company or the person whom called me name, but did leave a message on my work voice mail that i would face legal consequences and that my attorney needed to call them back at 661-270-6428, or they would wish me luck and summons me to the court house for a law suit. Not only is their talk off crazy it is illegal and they are SCAM artists from another country whom 1. Is buying up peoples information from applications from anywhere you go online and fill out, or 2. A payday loan you might have had at one time that you prob paid off in full or settled and the remaining or information was sold to them for pennies on the dime. i had tried to get info as to why they were calling me and what i owed if was indead for real, and they wouldn't give me any info other than wanted me to pay up or see me in court. SCAM!!!!

received a call from this number, stating they were a Law firm calling about a lawsuit for a wire transfer

Do not worry. They can't do anything. I recieved the same call and the FBI has been working on this matter. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!! They try to scare you into paying them. All you have to do is ask for their Firms name. If they truly are lawyers and have a "client" they must be able to inform you of the name of their Law Firm. SO please don't give them any money.

Just got a call from this number - said his name was Eric Johnson from Cybercrimes and I must call back immediate regarding a law suit.

just received call from eric johnson about legal matters, they can't do anything. Same deal happen to me about 6 months ago. Same name also that's kinda weird. con artist working the phone, get a job.

just got the same call from this phone number and they said they are with the cyber crime unit and i must call them immediatley regarding my lawsuit, but the bad thing is they called me at work, i told them it was illegal to call me at work, but they did not speak very good english so i dont know if they understood me or not.

I received a call from this number the other day, 619-367-2910 and they told me I had to return it for a payday loan that was never received by me.  I work in a building with a Financial Adviser, and she scared the crap out of him.  THEN, another person from a different number called, 661-270-6428, using a different name made the same phone call.  They are claiming to represent a company called United States Cash Advance Net, and they work for Morgan & Associates out of California.  However, when I put my banker on the phone with them, to verify that I never received any sort of transfer, they got completely irate and became hostel.  They hung up on the Financial Adviser.

I am an IT professional in a Call Center, with Telemarketers.  We do legitimate calls, but with research, I found that this is actually a scam.  These people buy what's called "Pay Day Loan" lists.  All this is, is information gathered from people who APPLIED for a Pay Day Loan.  All they are doing is trying to scare you into giving them money via credit cards.  DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY BECAUSE YOU NEVER RECEIVED THE TRANSFER!!!!!!

I received a message from someone with a foreign accent telling me that they needed me or my retained counsel to call them about a law suit. When I returned the call, I was shuffled around a few times and finally spoke to someone that could handle my account but was different from the lady that left a message. When he told me that I was being sued because of a payday loan that i received, I told him he was telling a lie. I also told him I have counsel and to do what he had to do but I am a law school student and I know full well that you can't inform someone that they are being sued over the phone. That since he had everything else on file, he could send the pending law suit filing to my mailing address. He became irate and told me "so what". I hung up!

Someone called my cell# and work # and when i called them back,they said it was about a payday loan i received which i did not.I did get a loan from another company and paid it back as required.When i was shopping for loans,this company must have gotten my information for this scam.Lesson learned.When i told this woman i never received a loan from company she mentioned and that her accusations were false,she hung up on me.

I received 5 calls from these people claiming that I had a Pay Day Loan from a US American Pay Day Loan company in the amount of 300.00 and I was being sues for 4K unless I paid the 390.00 back. These people use American names ie: Franklin Jackson, Julia Smith, Justin Reyes, Brad Cooper and can not even speak clear english. They threatened me with Theft and fraud. They had my resident address, name of the company I work for as well as the phone number. Harrassed me not only at work but at home in the evening as well as the weekend. Justin Reyes told me that the Constable would be by the next day to pick me up and take me to court and that is where I would be provided the documents that proved that I was guilty. When I asked them to provide the name of their "Law Firm" they would not do it. I had Justin Reyes so frazzled by the end of our conversation he was begging me to not call him anymore. Don't let these people bully you. I told them I wanted the supervisors name so that I could let them know I would be sueing them for harrassment and defimation of character. HOW DARE THESE IDIOTS TRY THIS KIND OF SCAM!

I received a phone call from this number and they said i needed an anttorney adn i owed them all this mony froma  payday loan.  they said they were goign to take it to court and suspend my license.  they said they were frm Morgan and Associates law firm and his name was Neil Watson.

I received a call from this number today. the number appeared on my phone and the city and state also appeared and it was Pine Valley, CA. The Man on the other end had an Indian accent and could barely speak English. He told me that I owed a Pay Day Loan with "US Cash". and that I was going to be charged with Theft by Deception. The Man told me that he was from "Morgan Associates". I told him to give me more information regarding the supposed company to which I owed money. I also told him that I did not remember taking a loan and that I would have to check my bank statements. He then became abusive and said that I would no longer have the option to pay him $482, and that I will have to appear in court and then be sued for $100,000. Total Scam!!!! Do not answer these calls if the phone number appears on your cell and do not pay them anything!!!!!!  

By the way, I called 619 information out of curiosity and there was no Law Firm by the name of Morgan Associates.

Just received a call from this number claiming that my attorney or I must call them back regarding a lawsuit.  The gentleman who left the message sounded like English was his second language and was using words like "you better call us back now" and "if you don't call back, all I can say is good luck with your legal suit."
