My call was from "Ed Smith", ALSO claiming to be the owner of RLS Construction.  Funny how many "Smiths" own this company... For those defending the tactics used by this company, I'm guessing your name is "Smith" as well.  I'm not interested in doing business with any company who uses deceitful sales tactics to "get business", regardless of those who think they're just trying to work like the rest of us.  If they can't be up front with their name, company info, and reason for calling, they're being dishonest and, frankly, do not deserve to be treated with respect.  Don't bother calling us for sure.  We've been in business for 18+ years, and I've never found such deceitful sales practices as I've had from people trying to sell Diamond Saw Blades.

We keep receiving calls from Ed Smith as well, but from 661-310-2545.  Interesting that ALL the employees last names are SMITH and they are all the "owner"...I posted this on another stream earlier:  

Keep getting calls from a man claiming to be Ed Smith, the owner of RLS Construction and selling saw blades.  We have repeatedly referred him to our project, and told him our office does not purchase tools or equipment, but he still calls here (and has never contacted our project).

I received a call today and the caller said he was the same person, but voice was different and sounded younger.

Complete BS company.  Just another lying diamond blade outfit.

Looked at all this info,  after I accepted to be sent a blade, at no point in our conversation did the guy tell me it was free, went through a lengthy conversation that if it was what he said it was, that I would get him paid for it. I'm sure he says the same thing to everyone. I'll keep my word if its as good as he says it is. And to you people thinking its free, he probably never told you that. Would you do free work?

Wanted us to try the blade for no cost. If I liked it order from them Then we get a call for an unpaid invoice. Such bull. We will send the blade back unused.

Received a phone call from Larry Smith, the "owner" of RLS Construction. He was very rude, needless to say he didn't get to leave a voicemail.

I have had the same problem with these people that you all have. They are unbelievably rude and boisterous. They keep calling our company trying to collect money. Several people in our office have explained to them that the blade was shipped to a company that rented space in our building that is no longer here and that we don't even use blades. They insist that just because it was shipped to our address that we are obligated to pay for the blade (even though they have acknowledged that the invoice is not in our name). Today he called and was screaming in the phone to one of the other ladies in our office. She told them that she would not be screamed at and hung up on them. They called right back and I answered the phone (he started screaming immediately). I told him that I was not the one who talked to him earlier. I also explained to him that we did not order a blade and were not responsible for it because the invoice was not in our company name. He kept screaming that he would get his money one way or the other and that he would turn us over to a collection agency. I told him to go ahead because there is nothing they can do to us. I know they are trying to collect money, but we have told them repeatedly that we can't help them. Still, there is absolutely no reason for anyone dealing with the public to act this way. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

They have changed or added a new number, 661-310-1644, same Ralph Smith, supposed owner of RLS Conbstruction, Ralph appears to be a busy guy with multiple personalities, I have had these guys cuss at my receptionist when asked to identify themselves and what is the purpose of the call, Nice people!!

The guy that called me was Mike Smith.   Left a message for the owner.  Said it was about a job.  He said he would know which one.  So bogus.

Trying to find out who owns this phone number.

Got a call from RLS Construction.  Returned the call and talked to Ralph Smith.  Ralph explained to me that he was the owner of the company and wanted to give me an opportunity to try his diamond blades that were so different.  The call went on for awhile as I am usually pretty willing to give people a chance.  In the end he was about to send me a blade.  I got more skeptical and eventually he hung up on me.  I called back to make sure he was not going to send the blade.  The guy who picked up the call claimed to be Ralph Smith as well... only I could tell he wasn't... So I called him out and told him not to send anything.  Bunch of BS like the rest of em... "Ralph" told me he was all about honesty... turned out he was full of it.

I just RETURNED a call to RLS Construction, as I had miss the incoming call and Ralph Smith had left a message. Considering these rough economic times, I returned the call thinking that it was not a solitication being the area code was 661. Wrong!  I returned the call, I identified my self, and my company. He asked for the man in charge of purchasing diamond blades. I told him, he is a she, she is me and kindly remove my company from your call list. He asked me to hold on a minute so that he could remove the name. I asked him to hurry please a the call was long distance. He told that these days there are ways to and not be charged. I asked him why does he not have a toll free number for return calls then.  He was rude, disrespectful and had the nerve to call me right back!  I told him there was no need to be a smart a**, and he told me I was a dumb a** for not purchasing diamond blades from his company. What a jack a**! Been in business for 20 years, not much I haven't heard. Wonder if he would speak to my husband like this, or better yet, in person.

I just looked up this number after I was sold a blade and its sad to see people acting very childish in their choice of words. They are people just like you. The man was very nice and made sense. I owned my paving business 27 years and I would never hire unprofessional people to be my secretary or answering service. Bashing other humans for trying to work just like you? Maybe you should get a life. We will see how this blade turns out.

Wow i just got a call from Waylon Smith from RLS with this number - must be his brother. Also note to telemarketers: When I ask you what the call is in regards to and you tell me it's a "business call" your dumb a** gets hung up on.

Yea!  I purchased a Diamond blade from a Paul Smith with RLS construction...Its a great product!

Got a call for my boss with this call back # 661-310-0947, he said his name was Chris Smith with RLS Construction.  Did an internet search and could find no RLS with those related phone digits.
