Rec'd call from same # as above - but they asked for my father BY NAME (he lives in another state some 175 miles from me), then when I responded ther was no person by that name @ this phone #, they asked for ME by name - and in a way I don't use.  I don't think this is Colonial Williamsburg calling...

I  too donate to them and they have nerve to ask for more money. I don't think so in today's times.

This could have been OUR post. We feel the same exact way. Go find some new people and leave us alone. It gets so you DON'T want to contribute. They bang, bang, bang away at those giving already.

Call from "CWF" at 12:54 PM May 1. If it is indeed Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, that makes sense because we are donors. I still won't answer. We donate regularly - monthly or annually - and faithfully - to several charities. What annoys us is that despite our faithful contributions most of them call or write us very frequently looking for more. Do they not realize that this is "biting the hand that feeds them" and the more requests we get the more likely we are to discontinue giving at all?

This is a fund raising activity for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (CFW.)   All they want is your money.
