We just got called from 6619533024 around 5:30pm Saturday about 4 times within the half hour... at first they said their name was John. Then through the rest of the calls..... no response. Probably jer*ing off. Weirdo's have nothing else to do but fantasize.

It sounded like a collect call, from someone named  Robert. This is the second time I received the same call in four days from the same number. This is a Google number-- why don't they do something about it? The number of people receiving these calls and then reporting them as complaints-- come on Google! Deactivate that number. You know who is using it, so why not stop them?

Lerdo is in Oildale. Check the zip code is 93308. Not a scammer,  but an inmate most likely called.

How can I get hold of some person from there ?

In Google Search put 93308. You will see a map that shows the area that zip code covers, which includes the county jail, and you will see it is Oildale designated. That may explain things - assuming this is not a scam..
Very few people have my cell number and I know of no one in jail...

I just got a call 26 minutes ago. After reading all the above, I decided to call the non emergency number for the Sheriff Department (661-861-3110). The woman who took my call says she doesn't think the county has a number like that.

Very few people have this particular cell phone number.

The call just came again.
I answered and listened. The recording played back a female voice saying an unclear name as the inmate. I hung up.

Is it real or a scam? Idk..

I just got 4 calls from 661-695-3024, I ignored all of them. I did a reverse check on the number and it said it was from a landline in Oildale, CA not from the Kern County Jail like it said on the recording so something tells me that this is a scam of some sort, maybe some type of identity theft!! They really need to start finding these people and prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law!!

that happened to me 5 times. i just got one a couple minutes ago.

i got 5 or so calls from this number, 2 times saying that it was someone from the kern county jail and it said the caller was "me". i only answered 2 times after that i stopped answering.

Didn't answer - the voice message said, "Babe I'm in jail, call my mom."
Weird because I'm in Colorado.

Someone called me from jail and I got a voicemail that said PCS service?  Called back and is busy.  Got another call and its the collect from Kern County Jail in Bakersfield, CA.

Got a COLLECT call from this number - don't know who it was.  I just hung up.  What nerve to call COLLECT if it was a sales call.

Its the holding cell in Kern County (Bakersfield)
