These people just call me talking about I own 7,000 and if I don't pay
Im going to jail. So Iooked them up and this is what I found, I knew something was wrong. They need to get a life

I've received a call from 661-727-3076 at my place of employment.  There was an Indian speaking lady who was "trying to sound" threatening.  I did not get her name, but I did tell her if she called my place of employment again "SHE" would be in trouble and she said okay no problem, then said, but you have a pending lawsuit filed against you and I am warning you.  I said thank you.  I've been warned.  She hung up in my face.

this number have been harrassed . they have called me and stated I need to send them 978 dollars by the end of this month. I found out they were scam artist. something needs to be done.

I received a call on my job today from 661-727-3076. They told me I had legal action being taken against me for fraudulant checks and laundering money.A woman originally called me and then give the phone to who she referred to as an officer. This guy also had a very strong accent from india. I could not understand half of what he said. He told me he had my social security number and I asked him to give me the last 4 he gives me some numbers that were not mine thank god then he continues telling me the whole number i then again told him it was not my number. I then asked him to give me the last name of the person he was trying to find. He give me a name that once again was not mine. I told him that he had the wrong person he yells at me on the phone telling me all his information was correct and an officer would be picking me up at my job or home and that they would be contacting the company I work for to let them know the charges that were being brought against me. He tells me that I can hire an attorney or one can be appointed for me.... I was sitting there with my mouth hitting the floor. I once again told him that he had the wrong person he said the office would be here to pick me up within a couple hours and he would see me in court. I told him he was exactly right i would see him in court to come and get me. Somewhere in that conversation he mentioned the states of Wisconsion and California. Does anyone know where a complaint can be registered again these people. I would completely freak out on someone if they called the company and told them that i was involved in all this mess they are accusing me of. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Yea I got a call today telling me I old a payday loan. I asked for the company name and it was American Payday. I stated that I did not have a payday loan with that company.  He stated that I commited fraund and decrption and If I go to court I would owe 42000 dollars and someone will be at my place of employment at 11:00am.  I said really? Well give me your phone number and the name of your company so that I can tell my Lawyer.  They guy hung up and his claims his name was Sean Rogers!  LOL...Yea Right you pakistani/indian and your name is Sean Rogers. The law states that a creditor has to notify you in writing of any debt you owe. If they do not it is a scam! If they fail to provide you with name, contact number and address is obviously a scam.  

I know we all get desperate sometime when money problems hit us like a rock.  We all just need to be careful going forward, you are not alone when comes to debt. Millions of american are having the same problems. Ignore these people and file a complaint with your local police office.

I just called FBI in california, they stated this IS a scam.

I just received the same call from the same number from the same guy and he had all my information bank account number and ss# what the heck is going on telling me I have a payday loan for $420 and that I need an attorney.  These people just need to get a life!!!! And they this this is funny.  I am going to the police station after work to file a report and notify the credit bureaus!!!!

They called me and i fell for it and i was so afraid that i didnt realize that i never even took a loan from american payday. what a bunch of scam artist i am glad i found this website before i gave them anymore money thanks everyone. They just dont realized they f..... with the wrong women .

They called me again today. This time at my workplace. I let them know I have notified the police department and they had the nerve to cont inue to attempt a conversation I informed them cease and decist immediately. I have changed my cell #, and am closing my checking account;.

they just called me stating i owed 8800 and that monday she was going to come here and tell my people that i was a criminal and go to jail. I told her that her "friends with the phone number 347-457-3020 have already callled and tried the same crap. I told her to bring on the lawyers and i will see her in court. I told her she didn't want to see me after the court cuz i would then actually go to jail. She wouldn't be able to make the calls again. I hung up on her.

I keep calling them and telling them that thay are a bunch of dumba**s and hang up I do this about 25 or 30 tims a day give them a tast of it

Received call from an indian/arabian guy then a lady saying i was going to have a lawsuit if i did not pay. Told them i did not owe anything and said they were not trying to collect. Threaten them calls where recorded and never called again.. I am still waiting on police station to make report.

THEY CALL MY HOME AND WORK SAYING THEY HAVE A LAW SUITE ON ME THAT THEY WILL HAVE ME LOCK UP IF I DONT PAY THIS IS FALSE DON'T PAY THEM ANY ATTENTION IT IS A SCAM

Brian Wilson called from this number stating he was with a California law firm and I was going to be arrested for an out standing loan that wasn't repayed. He said the loan was with American Payday. I have never received a lone with these people. I contacted the American Payday number that he gave me and it sounded like the same guy that I was just talkimh to, but his name was David Stone. Then I ask to speak with a manager , Manger's name was Jeremy Hall. What do these people think that we are crazy? There are not may people from the middle east with such unique names.

I got a call from an middle eastern sounding man who said his name was Norman Reed.  He said I had a lawsuit pending against me and I owed $890.00 from an American Payday Loan which I have never obtained. This is a scam

called stating I owed them money and if i didnt pay I would find out what would happen the following day

i had a call from the same guy. i fell for it at first but then realized after the money was sent that it was a scam. same story as the woman above. i had to pay 1500 or i was going to jail. after i figured it out i talked to the guy and told him i notified the fbi and he started laughing and say he wouldnt be caught. He had 500 more people to call. my situation is takin care of but for everybody else be aware of this guy. i sure will be

Same situation as person above.  He called from a blocked number 3 times in a row at my home last night, after leaving 4 messages on my voice mail earlier in the day.  After 3rd ring, I answered and he started his line of crap to which I immediately answered that I had checked him out and he was a scam artist and I had reported him to the FBI and secret service.  I hung up and haven't heard a word since.

I have been getting threatening calls from an indian speaking man stating that I had a lawsuit pending due to a loan that he said I applied for but I didn't.  The loan company supposedly was American Loans.  The name of the caller was California Lawyers at 3125 Chula Vista, CA 90265. Please report these a**holes for me before something serious happens.  This man called out my name, ss# and bank account.

I just received the same phone call. They were calling regarding $8000.00 or more. Had my cell number which they called me on. My checking account # and ss #.

01/14/11 (AM):  I RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL FROM MY EMPLOYER STATING THAT THEY RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL FROM "CALIFORNIA LAW GROUP" AND THAT IT WAS URGENT THAT I CONTACT THEM TO AVOID BEING ARRESTED.  MY EMPLOYER (HR MANAGER) CALLED ME AT HOME AND GAVE ME THE INFORMATION.  I CALLED 1-661-727-3076.  A PERSON IDENTIFYING HIMSELF AS "ROCKY ANDERSON" THREATENED ME THAT THEY HAD SOMEONE ON THEY'RE WAY TO MY RESIDENCE TO ARREST ME FOR AN OUTSTANDING PAYDAY LOAN THAT WASN'T PAID IN FULL.  THIS PERSON HAD ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION INCLUDING MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.  HE TOLD ME TO AVOID GETTING ARRESTED, IF I AGREED TO PAY $785.90 IN THREE INSTALLMENTS, THEY WOULD NOT PURSUE ANY FURTHER LEGAL ACTIONS.  SINCE I DID HAVE PAYDAY LOANS IN THE PAST, I BELIEVED HIM.  I ADVISED THEM THAT I DIDN'T HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT OR CREDIT CARD.  HE TOLD ME TO PURCHASE A "RELOADABLE CREDIT CARD" AND DEPOSIT THE MONEY ONTO THAT.  HE ALSO TOLD ME TO SHOW A SIGN OF GOOD FAITH, TO FAX THEM A LETTER THAT READS AS FOLLOWS:  "ATTN: ROCKY ANDERSON; I, ________, WOULD LIKE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE BY PAYING $785.90 IN THREE INSTALLMENTS.  I WILL NOT DISPUTE THIS TRANSACTION.  I WILL PAY $285.90 ON 01/21/11, $250.00 ON 01/28/11, $250.00 ON 02/04/11.  MY VISA CARD INFORMATION IS _________.  PLEASE ACCEPT MY LETTER WITHOUT NOTORIZATION."  I FAXED THIS LETTER TO 626-593-6339.  I MADE THE PAYMENTS AS SCHEDULED.

TODAY, MARCH 23, 2011 @ 03:15PM EST, MY WIFE RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL FROM "US CASH NET."  A WOMAN (UNANNOUNCED) TOLD MY WIFE THAT THEY ARE SENDING SOMEONE TO MY HOME TO GET ME ARRESTED AND PUT IN JAIL IF I DIDN'T PAY AN OUTSTANDING PAYDAY LOAN.  MY WIFE TOOK THE MESSAGE & GAVE IT TO ME WHEN I GOT HOME.  I CALLED THE TELEPHONE NUMBER (1-661-213-9459).  A MAN ANSWERED THE TELEPHONE AND SAID "CALIFORNIA LAW GROUP."  AFTER THE MAN GAVE THAT GREETING, I KNEW THAT THIS WAS NOT A LEGITIMATE DEBT.  I ASKED THE MAN, "IS THIS ROCKY ANDERSON?" AND HE REPLIED YES.  I IMMEDIATELY TOLD HIM THAT I AM NOT PAYING ANYTHING WITHOUT PROOF OF THE DEBT & THAT I BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM MONEY OUT OF ME.  I ASKED FOR SPECIFICS SUCH AS THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL TRANSACTION, THE AMOUNT DEPOSITED INTO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT, & THE BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER THAT THE MONEY WAS DEPOSITED INTO.  "ROCKY" TOLD ME THAT NONE OF THAT STUFF MATTERS, BUT WHAT DOES MATTER IS THAT I AM READY TO BE PICKED UP AND JAILED IF I DIDN'T PAY THE DEBT.  I TOLD HIM THAT HE'LL HAVE TO DO WHAT HE HAS TO DO, AND I'M CALLING AN ACTUAL ATTORNEY AND HUNG UP THE TELEPHONE.  I TOLD MY WIFE THAT I THINK THAT WE WERE VICTIMS OF A SCAM IN JANUARY 2011, SO SHE CALLED THE TELEPHONE NUMBER BACK (1-661-213-9459).  SHE WAS SPEAKING WITH "MARK" WHO BECAME VERY IRRATE & RUDE WITH MY WIFE WHEN MY WIFE PRESSURED HIM FOR AN ADDRESS.  I WANTED HER TO GET AN ADDRESS SO THAT I COULD LOOK IT UP ON THE INTERNET.  WHILE MY WIFE WAS ON THE TELEPHONE, I WAS LOOKING UP "CALIFORNIA LAW GROUP" ON THE INTERNET (FOUND NOTHING)WHEN I HEARD MY WIFE BEING INSULTED.  MY WIFE HUNG UP, AND LOOKED UP THE TELEPHONE NUMBER ON "800NOTES DIRECTORY OF UNKNOWN CALLERS."  SHE FOUND COMMENTS POSTED ABOUT SIMILAR SCAMS.  THEN, AT 5:10PM EST, MY WIFE CALLED THEM BACK & THEY ANSWERED THE TELEPHONE "FBI."  WE ADVISED THEM OF WHAT WE KNEW, INSULTS AND ARGUING PURSUED, AND THEN WE HUNG UP SO THAT WE COULD CONTACT THE FBI AND REPORT THE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SCAM.

OMG!!! This guy just called me and cursed me OUT. Told me that he would f*** me in my a**, that I was  black n****r who should go back to Africa... Honestly, I feel stunned and abused from the contact.

Thank you so much for your information.  I received a threatening phone call by some guy who didn't speak english named johnny rogers.  I already knew they were idiots when I called back.  He said I could be picked up or worse and that I was going to be served papers when the case against me was filed. I informed him that no one in America gets picked up over a few hundred dollars and that I had no idea what he was talking about because every loan I ever took out from any where was always repaid.  He stated the last few numbers of my social security number and thank god they were wrong so I think I threw him off by that.  I just told him that I'd wait from the case papers and go from there, thanked him that he called and hung up.  I'm sure he was surprised by that.  Ic an't believe they're actually getting away with this crap!

How do you think they got my work phone number? They also told me that I owed 8000 or something. They told me I was going to get served papers and they were suing me for not paying back a loan.

This is a fraud... Do not give them money.  Do not give them any of your personal information...
