For anyone that is trying to call Franklin to pay a debt, this number can be used to speak to a live person. On the bill they mail you it gives an 866 number but it is to an automated system that hangs up if you try to dial an operator. Also, they will charge you a $15 'convenience' fee for paying over the phone, but online you can pay with credit card and wave the $15 fee. They make no mention of the online option on the bill. This saves you money and makes them pay a CC fee, screw them! You could also call them to mess around with them. They harass us, we can do it to them too.

They have left several messages about a collection attempt..when I questioned them they asked for more information about me...DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF...I have no collection issues so I knew it was a hoax and when asked to be removed from their list, they hung up on me!

There was a class action suit against this group because they sent out letters pretending to be attornies. There were no Attorney present. The killer is I was contacted by an Attorney two years ago. Does anyone kbow if this lawsuit has been settled in Mississippi.

I just started recieving these calls also. I am nearly 100% sure that they recieved my phone number from another scam company that I ordered a free sample of Acai berry Detox pills from. I'm sure that those BEATCHES sold them my number. If anyone else has made the same or a similar order, then please post it so that we can all find the common thread for these bogus calls! and get one step closer to shutting them down!

Number called and I did not answer. Caller left an abrupt, rude message about having "left me a number of messages" and that " If I did not respond TODAY I would be facing legal proceedings. I am blocking this number. Life is too short and tough to play games with idiots....

These people are calling me in reference to an account I am unaware of (West Alabama Emergency Physicans).  When I tried to talk to the person and ask that they send information, they were very vague.  When I told them I was unaware of this account, he told me I was not cooperating and hung up.  Who are these folks and what can I do?

they called everyday. when picked up the phone recorded automated answer machine talks. I talked to someone real in the company asked them to remove my personall cellphone from calling list since the debt is related to business i have nothing to with that business anymore. they refused to that in a rude manner.

This number calls my boss's phone at least twice every day - sometimes more.  Once I picked up and they hung up on me.

I've just called this number back and the person that answered was the rudest.  She said they would continue to call until the matter was resolved.  I'm going to block the number!!

How can you get these people to stop calling you without calling them back?

Prase the lord for caller ID! We get called twice a day on an "Unlisted" number. I picked it up once and when I got that 10 sec pause but then hung up, as I do with all compurerized calls.

Figured that anything that is really important they would call in person.

At this point, it's really annoying!

They called, I told them the person they were looking for did not have this phone number and they removed my number from their listing. If they continue to call I will make note of it and I can sue them for up to $1000.00 per call. And I can do it in small claims court so I don't need a lawyer.

A message from Kay about a legal matter and I need to return the call. I come home to a recording a couple times a week. I have no legal proplems that I know about.

This number calls me EVERYDAY at least 3times. It's a recorded message from Kay telling me we have a serious business matter we need to discuss. I never called the number back and don't plan on it. Yes!! Let's start a class action suit..I'm all for it! I'm sick and tired of companies not respecting our decision to be on the DNC list!!

They called on my cell phone. I won't answer calls that I do not recognize. They called 3 or 4 times but haven't left a message.

this caller calls at odd times, sometimes leaving a message saying "this is a legal matter, call this number immediately".  i don't recognize this number and have no legal matters pending.  how do i stop this caller?

I have received several calls from this number. When I've ignored it or answered it the caller has been a recorded message with a very rude tone. I called them yesterday at the number they wanted me to call them back and asked for the name of the company - I was told their name is SCS - not sure what it stands for. Like the others above, I have no legal or collection matter pending. I just want the calls to stop.

Received a call today from someone by the name of Jeremy Johnson on my cell phone looking for my husband. Not sure who he is but the 662 area code is out of Mississippi. The man said for us to call, 1-888-215-8961 back, not sure what this is all about and why he called my cell phone and not my husbands.

I have received neumerous calls from this number. The caller never states the issue and does not say the name of the company. I get these calls on my work cell phone which the number is not given out. This phone is also on the do not call list. Can't these people be stopped.

This number just called me on my work cell phone and it was rude recording from someone named Mr. Reed.  I was appauled by the message and want the messages to stop.

Like everyone else, I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. These people call early in the morning and in the evening and do not leave any messages, like most collection agencies. I too am on the DNC list but this does not seem to stop these people. Maybe this is where they got my name and number? If so, maybe someone needs to start a class action lawsuit! GO AWAY FCS!

I don't even owe anyone any money. Yet this company keeps calling me about someone else they say gave my number as a reference. I have repeatedly told them to lose my number that I don't do references and they have ignored my request. They are a collection agency run by some foreigners who think they don't have to abide by USA laws. I have called the police and reported them twice already only to have them pull the same thing under different names. They were operating out of New Jersey a couple of months ago. I have traced the last three calls to this number and will be reporting them yet again for harassment in the morning. I am on the no call list, I have never done business with them or anyone they represent, I have asked them to lose my number. I am tired of playing, I value my privacy and they will learn that the hard way.

Franklin collections have contacted me by phone and by U.S mail. The letter received was a standard collection letter,the phone call was marked by several FDCPA violations. The rep that contacted me did not recite the mini miranda, she told me that I had to make a payment that night or I would be sued by the company. I asked her the company could sue me for not making a payment and it was after business hours. the rep told me I had to do a check by phone. I told her I did not have an active checking acct. She told me that was the only way to make the payment that the company was not set up to receive mail. I asked her why was there a return envelope in the statement they mailed to me she said that was just something included but I could not send in a payment. I told her that it was not my fault that her company was not set up to receive mail and that the only way I could make a payment would be to mail it in . The rep told me I would be sued if I did not make the payment over the phone. It wasn't until I told the rep that I was aware that she had violated many of the FDCPA laws that she decided to end the call.

Just got a recorded message from "Pam" regarding an urgent business matter and that I must call her back before 9:00 tonight - I am so glad I took the time to read all the messages left regarding this number.  She said she was not a telemarketer but did not identify the company or ask for anyone by name.
