This number has called me and said they are from Publishers Clearinghouse. Said I entered the sweepstakes. I did not and have no idea where they got my cell number from.

'Rachel Harris' of 'Publishers ClearingHouse' called me on my cellphone 1/29/10 to say I've won $250 toward a vacation and will be entered for a $100,000 drawing as long as I was still a Visa, MC, or Discover card holder and over 18. She then confirmed 'my address' which was wrong and asked me to correct it. I said I wouldn't give personal info out when someone calls me. She abruptly hung up. This call apparently came from Memphis, MS.

This person told me that I was the top winner in the State of Arizona and wanted my visa, discover, mastercard or american express number. I just said funny, I don't have any of those cards. Hung up.

Very deceptive and highly questional method of saying you have won a prize with Publishers Clearing House, give me your credit card number to be eligible.
Go to Do Not Call Registry and verify that you are on their list.
Then file a complaint detailing their highly unethical tactics.

They called me also calling themselves "The Publishers". Said I was a top winner in my state. They wanted Visa information. When I told them I had cancelled my Visa, they said they showed I had a bank card with one of the major companies (Visa, MC, Discover, etc) & it would qualify, so they are getting this information from banks. They are located in Southhaven, MS. The person identified herself as Julie Smith.
