Received a call speaking briefly in spanish followed by loud static at 1pm today.

THEY SAY THEY REPRESENTED PUBLISHERS CLEARING HOUSE. THE CALLER TERRY WHITE SAID I HAD WON MONEY OR CAR OR A VACATION. I GOT TO PICK. I DIDN'T BUY INTO IT BUT TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD ACCEPT A PHONE CALL FROM A SUPERVISOR WITH MORE DETAILS. THE SECOND PHONE CALL FROM SUPERVISOR JESSICA WANTED MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION SO I COULD SUBSCRIBE TO A READERS DIGEST MAGAZINE. I TOLD THEM THAT WAS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. SHE ASSURED ME THAT IT WAS SAFE AND THE PHONE CALL WAS RECORDED FOR THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY. I STILL DIDN'T BUY IT AND TOLD HER SHE WAS NOT GOING TO GET MY CREDIT CARD INFO. SHE SAID THANK YOU AND HUNG UP. HMMMMM.... WHAT ABOUT THAT $25,000.00 I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE WON.  I GUESS IT WASN'T REALLY TRUELY A PRIZE I WAS GOING TO WIN. DON'T BELIEVE THAT SCAM THAT YOU HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO WIN MONEY. YOU'LL ONLY LOSE WHEN THEY STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. I'M SURE THEY WILL WANT YOUR SOCIAL SECUIRTY NUMBER IN THE 3RD CALL. THAT'S IF YOU SPEAK SPANISH. MY 3RD CALL WAS A RECORDED MESSAGE IN SPANISH PROBABLY CUSSING ME OUT FOR NOT BUYING IN TO THE SCAM. WHO KNOWS WHAT THAT WAS ALL ABOUT. 3 PHONE CALLS IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.

I receive several calls a month for this number asking for Dorothy or Rick Martin.  I thought it was a collections call but after several attempts to get them to stop and I now reporting it on the do no call center.

These people keep calling my number. I send it to voice mail every time but it is getting aggravating. I called the number back and it sounds like some drunk guy.

A man called identified himself as Taylor Blain. I have been selected to win a cash and prizes of 100,000 from PCH.  He give me this long line of how he would win a trip because of my winnings.  Someone would call me back to verify my information.  When the lady called she congratulated me and asked if I used Visa, I said yes, she asked for exp date, I gave her a fake one and then she asked for my card # I told her I do not give that information over the phone.  She said she could not process me if she did not have the number.  I said ok and hung up.

this lady named shannon called my phone saying that i was entered in a sweepstakes and would win either a GMC truck or 25,000.00....!...my husband got on the phone to ask her a question and she hung up really quick...she couldnt explain because she said that it was a corporate phone call....all i know now is that was a lie....why whould they hang up so quick if it wasnt a lie?....i hope these people get caught soon

Said I was close to winning 25,000.  Asked which card I liked better, visa, or master card.  said they represented credit card companies and asked me to verify my name.  I told them my name and stated I did not want to purchase anything.  They gave me an verification number and said someone else would call me back to talk to me about purchasing magazines for a minimum fee.  So far no call back.  gave me this number to call back 662-796-1879.

Thanks for the heads up! This number was listed as a missed call on my cell.  I didn't recognize it so I typed it into Google and got the messages.  Knowing what I know I kind of hope they call back.  Might be fun to mess with them a little. :)

Also received call from this number claiming to be Publishers informing me I won $40,000 in cash or a fully loaded Tahoe - when I asked for something in writing they hung up.  Come on, we all know Publishers will show up at our front doors with cameras, balloons, and a BIG check!  Beware -

I spoke to a man today that claimed I won money also and tried to get my info.  As soon as I said I was not interested he hung up.  I called back from another nunber and gave a fake name and once they could not find that name they hung up.  I called the police they wanted nothing to do with it.  then I called my local news station in st louis missouri  I only hope they get the word out!!!!!

also received a call claiming from Publishers Clearing house from an entry I submited in 10/2007. I said I didn't remember entering it....we got disconnected. Too bad - they said I won $100,000! Right...

The first lady claimed that I had won a Clearning house sweepstake.  Also stated I had won $25000.00 and all I had to do was give her my credit card information to receive the prize.  She stated her name was Cassandra and the second lady that called to give me my so called prize number was Oliva Jones from 662-796-1879-Southaven, MS
