GOT THE SAME THING EXCEPT THE NUMBER WAS FROM 3102166900
ASKING ME TO JUST "VERIFY" THE CARD INFORMATION I HAVE AND THEY GOT MY NUMBER FROM MY CARD COMPANY WHEN I JUST PURCHASED THE PHONE..SAME THING JUST DIFFERENT NUMBER.

I got a call from the same number this morning 3-5-09.  It was identified as a Mississippi Call.  When I answered, a Mr Reynolds told me I had won a prize from what I thought he said was Publisher's Clearing House.  I sort of became suspicious when he had much difficulty saying the word Publisher -- kept saying Plublisher.  Then he asked what credit card I used the most.  I told him I don't give out my credit card number on the phone.  He assured me that he wasn't selling anything, but that his supervisor needed to know this and that she would be calling me to verify.  Anyway it turned out to be for some company other than Publisher's Clearing House and  when the "supervisor" called a little while later, she told me I would be getting Reader's Digest for ONLY $2.47 an issue -- I told her I was interested and hung up.  

The interesting part about this is that within the last 3 days, I've gotten phone calls (unanswered) twice from the ID of California Call and now two from a Mississippi Call.

A female caller called saying I won money in the clearing house sweepstakes. I believe she was trying to sell me magazines.  When I told her I didn't want any magazines she ended the call.  It is a scam I am sure
