Just go the call a few minutes ago.  Yup, played along for a bit .....then "Sam Smith", ya know the guy who calls from India asked me why I was "being like that".......I was saying a lot of "oh yeah".....anyway he finally asked me what the bottom left key was on my computer.  I said I didn't know as the computer is so old that the writing had worn off.  "Sam" then tells me that "if your computer is so old then you couldn't have microsoft".......I laughed a lot as he hung up!  Loved your response Dahawk!

I told him I didn't have a computer but he called back several weeks later anyway.  Moron.

Someone at this number just called me on May 27 at 1:30 pm.  I could barely understand him, and it took me awhile to
figure out what he was saying.  He said he was from the Microsoft IT department and that he had an error message that someone was hacking into my computer.  He wanted me to go to my computer.  I had a good laugh, and told him yes, the federal government is hacking into my computer.   Then I hung up.

Got the call just now, no answer after asking a few times "hello?"  I'm in nj, they called my relatives in Wisconsin last week.  Even gave family member names to this person as a referral.  Very sneaky.

5-10-14 call from 674-823-0412 at 2:32pm eastern time .. caller id says name unavailable I did not answer phone and caller left no message on voice mail

Said he was Windows representative calling as they received an error message.  I told him if I have an issue with my Windows I would take it to be fixed locally.  Called me a f*****ing a...hole so I called him one back! With all this technology you would think we could stop this.  This was the second call this week from them.

I just got a call again from this source after a long long absence. Last time, I just played totally dumb and got the fellow to lead me through every step, asking many questions along the way and making mistakes (I'm retired with a lot of time on my hands and lonely sometimes LOL). Of course, my computer wasn't even turned on. After about 30 minutes of getting the guy totally frustrated, I told him I had finally figured out what the problem was. He got real excited thinking now he was closing in on the deal. I told him mine was a Mac, not a PC. Worse cussing out I have ever got! There was still a blue cloud hanging in the air as I hung up during his tirade.

Called 3:55pm, Wa state, claimed to be windows representative calling about my computer. Hung up when I said I did not have one.

Called at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning! Have number blocked on phone now!

Total scam, what a bunch of morons. Claimed something is wrong with my computer.  I tried to play with them but they woldn't take the bait. I should have tried to act like an old man that was confused! HAHAHAHAHA

Definitely a scam - tried to pass themselves off as windows support - obviously they are not.
Report them to FCC and to Microsoft if they call (MS must have a fraud division somewhere)

Called this morning at 7:07 - no one there after I said hello. Then received another call, a few minutes later from 237-235-2222, same thing, no response. 237 is Cameroon......674 is the "Republic of Nauru" - some tiny island in the Pacific. CONSPIRACY! But....definitely a scam.

Called this morning at 7:20 a.m. In Texas!  Did not answer!  

Called at 7:21 AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2014.   I did not pick up the phone.

My room mate just received the same call. They stated that there was multiple viruses on the computer. They wanted him to turn the pc on and let them have access to it. He told them that he doesn't know how to and that I would call them back when I got in. They hung up.

He said the same that he is from windows and my computer has problem and I knew that he is fake and fraud so I acted like I am scared and fun began..he wanted to take control of my computer and get access to all my personal information.

Unknown name - no message left.

from india, said home improvement, and as I continued asking his name, he said I am your husband ... Thankful this call was recorded and in the federal trade commission hands!

I receive these calls repeatedly and when I pick up the phone a voice says Good bye. How can we stop this?

Claimed to be from Windows help desk to talk about my computer.  Hung up when told I don't use windows
