wanting to lower apr on card

I received about 50 calls from them over the last 3 months. Every time I tell them to take me off the call list they hang up. I filed complaints with everyone I can think of.

Today I found the solution. Call 866-884-6548 and ask to speak to Cobe Williams - he said he was the Head of the Security Department (or something like that). I told him I wanted to be taken off their calling list and he said he would do it. The reason is that I called the Americare Software Solutions call center repeatedly and wanted a different person and then hung up so he called me back. He told me that my repeated calls were harrassing them (I did mention the irony in that). He told me not to call again. I told him that if they called me then I would call him. Everyone should call and ask for him. Give them a fake name when they ask and say you want to speak to him. LETS STOP THEM!!!

THIS COMPANY CALLS ME 5 PLUS TIMES A DAY. TELLING ME THIS MY LAST CHANCE BEFORE THEY CLOSE MY FILE. THEY ARE SELLING EXTENDED WARRANTIES. I HAVE PUSHED THE #2 TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE ASKED THE SALES PERSON TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE ASKED THE MANAGER TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. I STILL GET 5 PLUS CALLS A DAY. THEY USE TWO #'S THAT I KNOW OF. # 1 IS (213) 504-7093 / # 2 IS (678) 238-1300

Follow up, after speaking with my local D.A. and the police giving the VIN number was not a risk. The Atty Gen is sending forms to complete.

this is a scam, the second of two calls that I got. The first was 207-431-1300.

I got a call saying my vehicle warranty was about to expire and to hang on for an operator. The woman came on and asked for my V.I.N. number, I asked her if I could call her back because I would have to out to my car, she told me she could wait. I then gave her my vin off my deceased father's car, there was a lot of noise and shouting in the background. She told me that she had to put me on hold.

When she returned she said she had great news and that she could get me a great deal, but I had to take advatage today. She then put me on hold again. I waited a bit and hung up, I try calling the first number and it was disconnected. A minute later the phone rang with Georgia 678-238-1300 on the id. She apologized for her machines cutting me off (but I hung up).

She put me on with another rep who said he could offer me a great 100,000 mile warranty for 3000 dollars. He said I needed to put 595 down now. He then went into what it covered and how I could spread the payments out. After all this(about 20 minutes since the first call) he asked if I'd like to put it on a credit card or check by phone. I told him he needed to send me the info first in the mail before I gave out a credit card number. He said I would get the info afer paying the 595 down, I explained I do not give out my credit card over the phone and hung up without a word right away. I tried this number back and it keeps ringing, I have filed both numbers with the ftc and will call my district atty next...beware this scam.

These people are still doing their thing so don't give them any information. Their M.O. is the same as above. They're rude & persistent.

Caller from number 678-238-1300 said she could get my interest rate lowered on my card if I would give her the 16 digit account number.  Since I am smater than that I hung up on her and she called back 4 times and played loud music in my ear.  Rap music of course.

I received a call today from a company offering me an extended warranty for my vehicle.  I srung them along. The lady asked for my vin# for the vehicle.  I told her I didn't have it right in front of me and asked for a number to call her back at. She told me she didn't have an inbound number but she could call me back.  She called back and 678-238-1300 showed on my cell phone.  I then gave her bogus info regarding my car and I asked her what was her company name and she said wac and she kept pressing me for the correct vin # I asked her if she had a website and she said yes but then kept pressing me for the vin and would not give me the website address.  I am reporting them.  I do know the 678 area code is in Georgia.

Did you ever find out anything?  I got a similar call today 12-27, so I guess they haven't been stopped yet.

I hung up on them when I thought they were asking too many questions.  When they called back, I asked them who they were and how to call them back.  The number they gave me to call them back on was 866-884-6548.  The man who said his name was Jonathan Hayes told me the name of the company was Americare Software Solutions. When I looked back at the caller ID it said Versadebt 678-238-1300

I stupidly talked to this woman and gave her my information!  Then we mysteriously got disconnected.   I immediately called my credit card company and had my card cancelled.

Do not answer these calls.

I got the call yesterday and again today. I told them to call back tomorrow (I'm just stringing them along). I asked the person for their website, she said the "Financial Advisor" would give it to me once I'm "Approved" for this WONDERFUL Program. I asked if I could have a phone number she immediatly said she can call me at anytime. I then tried calling this "company" back at 678-238-1300... the phone just rings and rings.
She is going to call me back tomorrow. Not that I have time to waste on these SCUM BAGS but, if I can BRING THEM DOWN and bring them down HARD I will. I just don't know who to contact other than the attorney general's office at (405) 521-2029. I guess I will call them in the AM to see what I can do to help catch these A-Holes!!

Several posts about this company seem to indicate that it is to be avoided.
