That's what happens when you have skills companies want: when I was actively looking I got upwards of one-two dozen calls a day from a wide variety of tech companies. That's how recruiters operate, it has nothing to do with ego.

This is a legit office of Technical Recruiting manned by Indians and not a scam.
OK to respond to.

Received a call from this number - two times w/in 30 seconds. Didn't answer either time. No voice mail. Calls is coming from GA, USA. God, I hate these types of calls. Thankfully my ring tone is Five Finger Death Punch's remake of Bad Company's, Bad Company. This version ROCKS!!

This number is for someone trying to do one of those bank scams. Don't answer it and if you do, don't fall for the official-sounding automated messages saying your acct has been frozen and you need to give them personal info to unfreeze it. It's been all over the news

Zieta Technologies is a fraud company. They tell about visa to US but they do not have any set up to do that. So they collect money from candidates and give you false promises. Please do to rely on their ad or phone call. THEY ARE FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 Nov at 2052 received a call from this same number, Northwest Federal Credit Union, saying that my credit card account had been compromised and to press 6 for the security department. I am not, nor have been a member of NWFCU.

I got the same call.... so I called them back and after I hit the whole keyboard of numbers in real fast, someone finally spoke, he says that he was a staffing agency. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said I could talk to him. I told him I knew he was a scam and if he didn't give me a supervisor I was calling the police. He said again I could talk to him. I just hung up. So if you want to call him back, just hit the keyboard way too many times and wait, he is listening and ... well he picked up the phone...

Got a call at 10:20pm claiming it was First Hawaiian Bank and that my FHB card was frozen or some crap and to press 1 to speak to their security dept. I don't have an FHB account but I pressed 1 to see if I could get any info on these scammers. It just rang and rang.

They're calling me too - 7 pm. Apparently, all of my coworkers with company issued phones are receiving these first Hawaiian bank scam calls.

Like Keiki's post, the only part on the cell VM was "connect you to the security department." Call was at 1400 today. Also called my home phone but left no message.

Got a call from this number said my card from First Hawaiian Bank was blocked. They were going to transafer me to their security department. I don't have a card from First Hawaiian Bank. This is just a scam.
| Mike 2010-06-22 15:24:23 Unknown |
They called me today, just a head hunter. I've been sending unrecognized #s to VM because I'm getting inundated with them (new job opening that matches my skills... so now the wolves are salivating and calling).
The first VM was "on hold" music (yea, very professional), then he called back and couldn't seem to put together a coherent sentence.

Someone called telling me we have a job offer for you. I said I don't know what you're talking about.... The man said I found your information on Monster.com.
I asked what job, he said a job offer.

This is a scam trying to get your debit card information. It tells you due to recent scams at this bank they have suspended your card account and that you need to call 931-570-4571, when I looked up the number it was a cell phone. The message is a computer generated voice, so don't get hooked by this scam. And they say at the end SORRY FOR ANY INCONVEINANCE. Like that makes it better!
